Video/Action 002 | Goldenrod
A: Action- Game Corner
[In the dim light of the seedy room, Dorian sat. He had his nose almost pressed to the screen, and his eyes studied the constantly cycling numbers, letters and symbols. His lips were turned down in a frown. Every now and again, he moved, either letting out a exalted cry or a discouraged scoff.]
[Viridis laid at his feet, its much larger, newly evolved form taking up a large amount of space (at least enough to make the other patrons glower at the man.]
[Finally, Dorian turned, letting out an exasperated sigh.]
I'm beginning to think these machines are rigged.
B: Action- Goldenrod Bar
[It wasn't hard to miss the former mage during the nights. Having finally found a decent source of alcohol, the man had fallen back on old habits. There were no goals in his mind, no people to save.]
[And so he filled his time with familiar vices.]
[While not a sloppy drunk, per se, he was loud, and quite enjoyed his space in the spotlight. He can be found front and center, a colorful drink in hand. Viridis, on the other hand, could be spotted in a corner, glowering at his trainer.]
C: Video- Goldenrod Inn
[The video clicked on, focusing on a particularly muscled back and bedraggled hair. A muffled groan came from the form, and slowly Dorian lifted his head to glare at the screen, not unlike the Pokemon behind him.]
I'm calling in an emergency. [His voice was hoarse and his expression pained.] Send a healer to my room in the Goldenrod Inn. Coin and company will be provided to whomever can rid me of the wretched pain in my head.

Of course, by that I mean drinking the water... Ah, though then again, I suppose given the circumstances you're already quite familiar with that sort of thing?
no subject
I wasn't aware my father had made his way here. Care to lecture me about the company I keep as well, serah?

[Wait a second.]
-- Is this an actual emergency, or a hangover?
no subject
Is there a difference?
no subject
Or an ER stay.

[After a moment, he'll peek up. There may or may not be a playful crinkling of his eyes.]
Are you concerned for me, darling?

My, how the turntables.]

Hel-lo, darling. You're looking... [Dorian may be drunk, but he's not so drunk to not notice that something is bothering Anders.] How are you?
no subject
And he intentionally ignores the fact that he and Dorian appear to have ordered the exact same obnoxiously bright, fruity drink.]
Not drunk enough for this. [Still too drunk to stumble out the door, though.]
no subject
Don't be like that. Lighten up. Drink up!
no subject
Fine, fine. But only because they have everything here.
[In spite of his surrender, he's scowling as he takes another swig of his drink, though after a moment he does tilt his head at the Tevinter.]
What are you still doing in Goldenrod?

Drink plenty of water, have a cooked breakfast and avoid brightly lit areas. Headache tablets can help, if you have any.

[The image that came to mind was a slab of stone, leaving Dorian to scoff at the man on the other end. What was he meant to do? Brain himself until he could no longer feel the pain? Sleep upon the blighted thing? Neither sounded pleasant.]
Breakfast it is. [Not that he was particularly motivated to order anything, let alone cook for himself.]
no subject
You don't believe in taking headache pills? [ The man was raised by a cult but even he isn't going to deny the benefits of medicine. ]
no subject
no subject
Regardless. You can purchase medicine if you can venture into daylight. If not, just eat and drink well and rest in a dimly lit room.

[And improve his mood. Win-win.]
no subject
[Well, he wasn't feeling nauseous until now. Thanks buddy.]
no subject
[He really should have mentioned that first, shouldn't he?]
Chansey and Blissey produce extremely nutritious daily eggs in their stomach pouch, and they love to share them. In fact, were I in Goldenrod instead of Celadon, my dear Noelle would already be halfway on her way to forcing one on you.
[He almost makes it sound like acceptable behavior. Almost.]
no subject
[Really, it was no worse than eating a chicken egg, at least that was what part of his brain was trying to tell him. The rest of him just wanted to puke.]
no subject
[Both of those reasons are equally valid and important, as far as he's concerned.]
It's no more harmful that eating a Tropius' banana, or a Combee's honey. And I assure you that only a blind person could mistake a future Happiny for an edible egg. ...Though you might want to say so immediately, if you drank enough to achieve blindness.
