I bet everybody's heard the news by now, huh? I can't believe we can actually get our own gyms! Well, after you got all the badges and get through victory road, anyway.

...aaand I still got some I'm missin'.

[Jimmy laughs and rubs the back of his neck, shaking his head a little.]

It's hard not to get distracted when there's so much going on, I guess! Good news is that I only got two more left to get here around town, and I kinda was wantin' to get back on the road again anyway!

So! Me n' my team are gonna go to Cianwood first! I've kinda been really wantin' to try those warp pads out, so it's prolly not gonna be all that long of a trip or anything...but if anybody wants to come or if I could meet up with somebody somewhere, that'd be swell! It's more fun travelin' with a group, yaknow?

[Though he can a bit more easily than he used to...he still likes being around folks.]

Oh! One more thing!

Tooons of new people have been showin' up lately, and I haven't even been able to say hi to everyone! So: hi! My name is Jimmy Two-Shoes! It's awesmazing to meet all you guys, and I hope we can be great friends!

[There's a chorus of Pokemon noises from behind Jimmy (he looks to be in a Pokemon Center) of agreement before he turns off the feed.]

Those warp pads do look fun and useful, at least for those of us who can use them. Are you going to take the easy way and challenge all the Gyms at the initial level, or are you going to try your luck against those Elite teams along the way?

[Both are very tempting options.]

I dunno! Most of my Pokemon are pretty strong now, and I've gotten badges from both regions...

[Jimmy hums to himself, lifting a hand to his chin in thought.]

Have you gotten all the badges yet? What would- or did, if you have- you do?

Guess it depends on whether you'd rather earn the badges quickly, or get experience against stronger teams along the way.

[Which just makes choosing even harder.]

I'm done with Johto, but I haven't gotten started on Kanto yet. To be honest, I ended up spending months in Fuchsia just because I couldn't make up my mind about it. Still haven't, really.

Nothin' wrong with that! I'll prolly try to decide myself before I actually go to Kanto...I was in Kanto for a while while my friend was getting all the badges, but I only got a couple of 'em while I was there.

[The rest he...got a little distracted on.]

Did you watch your friend's battles for the other ones, even if you didn't get them yourself? That'd make preparing for the rest much easier.

I did! Though his were kiiinda different...he was challenging every gym using nothing but Litleo!

[Seriously.]

...Must have been fun against the Water-types. And the Rock-types. Probably the Fire-types themselves, too.

It was pretty interesting to watch! But type isn't everything, yaknow!

The species and its strength matter too, of course. But Litleo is the base state, isn't it? So that's even more challenging.

Uh-huh! You shoulda' seen the looks on those Gym Leader's faces when Joker kept sending out his Litleo to battle, though! It was hilarious.

Did he do that for every badge, including Johto's? Because Clair's reaction would be worth making the trip to Blackthorn on foot.

Oh no, just Kanto's I think! He got all the ones in Johto and wanted to make his Kanto run more interesting.

[With, you know. Litleo.]

I can't say he won't try it again in Johto if he gets the chance, though!

Sounds like a fun way of spicing up those battles. Maybe you could also find a challenge of your own, especially if you decide not to fight the Elite teams.

I bet I could! I have a lot of Electric and Fire types...so I could maybe just use those and nothing else?

[Especially the fire types. There are so many.]

Using a single type feels great, believe me. I've badges with nothing but Normal-types, and the leaders always seem impressed. You can try it once, see if you like the challenge.
