[voice - action for new bark town]
[action]
[ His first instinct had been to leave that building. Leave that woman. And it had felt right - though, the sun hitting him had truly made him feel... alive. For the first time in a long time.
However, he has to clean up. It's been far too long since he's been out and free. His thoughts turn to the waters he can hear - and, so, you may find Basch, washing his hair over the coastline, still shirtless - his Spinda sitting by him and staring with a curious look. His spare clothes - those of a Tourist - were laid nearby. ]
[voice]
[ After a while of his rest, and cleaning up as best he could, Basch has learned of this odd technology - video cameras. Mostly from observing the others who are in this town, greeting others. Seeking others from their world, asking questions of their situation - but he cannot show his face to them. If there are any from his world, he cannot let them know he is alive. He is hated by most, and held in contempt by the few others.
That is why, you see, he had taken time to figure out how to enter voice mode. His voice is strong - he had rehearsed what he was to say. Though he has not had to say even this much in so long... ]
I am another who has arrived in this land but recently. If there is further guides then the ones that have arrived, where may they be found? Until the creature blocking the path to the next city has been subdued, it shall be difficult to leave.
Spiiiinda?
...My own beast, Spinda, does not seem to have the strength to take on many. Is there another with one who may instruct proper training methods - or the means to acquire others.
[ There's a pause. He... did not know how to end the recording - a slight grunt came from him, and a mumble of "I've still not seen devices this advanced", before it ends. ]
action;
It seems to have gotten her Dratini's attention at the least as he dives into the water right beside him. That may have been more water than he wanted coming towards him.
Rosa can only stand in place paralyzed by the scene. Give her a moment, she might make an attempt at an apology or to see if everything is alright. ]
action;
Don't mind him trying to grab and throw your Pokemon, though. He still thinks of them monsters, and Spinda isn't helping. Spinda thinks it's amuzing. ]
action;
[ Her Pokemon has been kind of a bully towards her today so she hopes by calling out his name, he'll behave himself towards a stranger. That and it gives away that he belongs with someone, that he's not a beast from the wilderness. ]

Yours, then?
no subject
... but if she were to trade him off, why did she go through the effort of naming him after one of her dearest friends? ]
He has been difficult today. [ Perhaps it's his personality. She wouldn't know. ]
no subject
[ And... a snake. They just need training, Basch thinks - but he doesn't seem to know if this lady is a commander or not. She is wearing rather elaborate clothes, compared to him... he gives a small nod. ]
As Golmore is to me.
no subject
on, thank you very much. ] That he is.[ Rosa keeps her distance by a couple yards to give him privacy, not wishing to intrude anymore than she already has. ]
Are you... [ Unwell? New? Who knows what she wants to ask. ]

Stepping closer, she'll avoid the wetter spots along the ground, remaining mindful of where she was standing. Easier to look him over when she's this close as well. ]
This town has little to it.
no subject
[ That's why Golmore totally tried to lure Basch out. ]
For now, we remain. [ A pause, before he offers a washed hand - having used one of the towels in his arrival bag to wipe it off. ] Noah.

Traveling dangerous paths is not unknown to me. [ Is it foreign to him? It seems that it may be as she looks him over closely. ]
no subject
[ And if he didn't look so weak... ]
As they are not to me.
no subject
I would offer my aid but I am without my weapon. [ She doesn't know that everyone arrives without just yet. ]
A beast is beyond though? [ Did her Pokemon sense what was lurking in the grass? He must have. ]
no subject
[ But, the beast... ] Aye. Some form of... 'Elephant-esque' creature. [ He pronounces the word Elephant as if he's not heard it often before. Because he hasn't. ]
no subject
A bow. [ While she can't offer input on the beast, she can answer his question. Funny, she doesn't look like much of a ranger in her current outfit.
Looks more like royalty than anything else with the spiked pauldrons and the jeweled ornaments around her hair. ]
Though I cannot guarantee it would fell an elephant-esque creature. [ Mostly because she has no idea what that is. ]
no subject
[ There might have been some exaggeration from the NPCs. And he has noticed her looks... she looks not only royal, but also youngish. A bit of him misses Ashe as they talk - dear Ashe, she still lived and she may be in danger. He has to ask. ]
What territory are you of?
[ He cannot tell where this noble may be from. ]
no subject
I hail from Baron. [ If he's from her world, then he's heard of it. Who hasn't? ]
And you, good sir? [
She just had to ruin the mood by asking]no subject
i mean who'd do that]Though I have not heard of Banon... I am from the Kingdom of Dalmasca.
[ Was it truth? Not fully. For one, he did not know the state of Dalmasca, if it was seen as a Kingdom still. But there was no reason to trouble this lady... was there? After a moment, of pondering and questioning himself (she does not seem the sort to betray and shout it to everybody, and perhaps it would explain his own state): ]
A prisoner of war.

I cannot use my magic but I could tend to your wounds. Make bandages.
[ Whatever it is he needs, she will provide. ] Here, you should eat this as well.
[ Pulling her lunch out of the bad over her shoulder, she'll offer it to him without second thought. ] Please.
no subject
[ It was true. His arms already felt more relaxed, and even his wounds felt better in the fresh breeze. But... ]
You will need food for the road ahead.
[ young lady he can survive on the environment. Or, at least, he thinks he can. ]
no subject
We don't know what lies ahead on that road but rest assured I can make do with what I have. [ Between the two of them, she appears to be the one in better health. The one that could go without food for a few days. ]
You will need it to bolster your strength.
no subject
Still polite, even though he was starving - she looked like a noble, after all. Bowing his head, however, he paused eating to speak again. ]
...Sorry for refusing. [ ofc he had to apologize. But he looks so thankful. ] Have some.
[ .......he is offering some of it back. ]
