[That's the first thing you can hear out of Thida's feed on the 'gear today - and all you can see is darkness before she fiddles with it to reveal the rocky surroundings of the entrance to Union Cave as a pride of Luxray and Pyroar pick their way over the crags. They don't seem to notice the short, twintailed girl who turns the 'gear on herself, looking quite in a tizzy. Her hair's a mess, there's bags under her eyes, and her own Luxray has his head propped on her shoulder like there's no problem with a bunch of lionesque Pokemon prowling around.]

Where'd they come from? Not s'posted t'be here!! S-So many...

[This isn't like the normal, everyday wild encounters. This is a SWARM OF ANIMALS waking her up and possibly looking for breakfast....]

How d'you get to the cave?? Gotta fight ALL of 'em???

[The 'gear, and the girl, are noticeably moving upward. Is - oh wow she is climbing a tree to get out of their reach, not that any have gotten close to her. Judging by how her own Luxray has little trouble climbing up to be with her, it's not going to work well if one does decide to come make a new friend.]

[ You know, when Jill decides to mess with the gear today the first thing she expects to hear is some news about triumphant battles or furthering a grand journey or... catching a new pokemon. Not this. It's enough to have her concerned, though she's never been too good at not being overbearing when she does find herself to be fond of someone.

The important thing is that it seems like Thida's pokemon is responding to the situation in a way that might be indicative of how serious the situation really is. Not sure if I can lend a hand from here but maybe you can try sneaking out?

[ This is probably not the most on-point advice, but it's not like she can rush in and kick each pokemon in the face individually while carrying Thida to safety.

[ Though they can climb trees (at least her Shinx does and apparently Thida's Luxray's an old hand at it), she figures it's as well as the ground right now. ]

You anywhere near the entrance or exit? Might be able to sneak around them. You're definitely light on your feet.

[ She's not sure about the Luxray, but it could be that it'll help her? If anyone ends up being a Cat Pokemon Whisperer around here, somehow it feels like it could be Thida... ]
