[In the middle of the night there's a new post. All that can be seen is well... Blackness. And muffled voices, one raised, the other trying to keep the situation calm.]

[There's sounds of scuffling and things rubbing against the microphone, it's becoming increasingly apparent that the PokeGear is inside a bag. Most likely knocked on during whatever drama is going on outside said bag.]

[Louder sounds of jostling and the screen gets a little lighter, Diana must be searching through the bag.]

[A deep angry feline growl and the familiar sounds of a fight.]

Oh, is that what they turn into? Isla's still all brown and furry. The only thing thats evolved for me is Caine. He's bigger and starting even more fights now. He also has a stupid haircut.

I've heard they can evolve into a lot of different things. Calyx just happened to become purple. [She smiles, though. Just some light teasing, Diana, she actually doesn't mean much by it.]

Maybe the other Pokemon are making fun of his haircut, and he's proving that it doesn't matter how his hair looks.

Well, I certainly can't take him seriously looking like that.

It is a bit of a silly style. Maybe he'll evolve again, and it'll get better.

I'm not sure I want his grumpy ass getting any bigger.

You can always look it up, right? If he evolves, I mean. And if he does, and you'd rather he stay one way, they have these nice stones at the department store that keep a Pokemon from evolving. I got one for Junior recently. He didn't seem like he wanted to get any bigger.

He was that purple one you had when we met, right?

Yes. He's just like my friend Chuchu from home. I'm glad he wanted to stay little.

Heh, that's a cute name.

It's how he talked. All he could say was "chu", so that's what I named him.
