[The video starts off with one supremely zoomed-in eye - Krieg's eye, surrounded as usual by the eyehole of his mask. Once the device is going he pulls back to a slightly less uncomfortable distance (for the viewer, anyway, let's be real here), and announces:]

MnahahAHAHA! THERE'S NO FENCE ON THIS FENCE!

[That is one proud Psycho. He flips the 'Gear so that it no longer displays his mask-covered face (you're welcome), but instead one (1) Electrode, looking like a very smug asshole, and one (1) enormous - well. That has to be a Muk, no Grimer is that big. One Muk, looking very pleased, and...just a tiny bit demure? Well, it sure is nice to know at least one of Krieg's Pokemon has some modesty.]

The Spark Ball and the Slag Stack owned the birds!

[Spark Ball lights up briefly with a crackle of smug static, while Slag Stack seems to gather itself up as if to sit (or stand?) a bit straighter, and wave one oozing limb at the camera. They are the champions, yes, it is true!]

The bug gym is next!

[Only Krieg could make a harmless announcement sound like a threat.

...But, let's be real, here; now that the Vault Crew is taking on the Gym Challenge, the bug gym's days are numbered.]

It's almost as good as the Circle of Slaughter!

[No Pokemon battle will ever compare simply because, as much fun as the Pokemon battles are, not being allowed to directly participate dampens his enjoyment somewhat.]

[It certainly is Jean and Co., and Jean switches to video so Krieg can see him.]

[He hasn't been to a Circle of Slaughter, but that sounds like something Krieg would enjoy, so he's glad his friend had a good time.]

Yeah! I have the Thunder Badge now!

[Which he tried to sweet-talk out of Lt. Surge, but the guy insisted on battling him anyway. No big thing, Jean took him down without too much trouble.]

Slag Stack evolved! He looks great!

Mnahahaha...! I bet the fight was electric!

[...Krieg, please. That was really, really bad. Luckily - probably - Slag Stack heard his name, so he's approached to see what's what! His investigation begins by oozing abruptly into Krieg's lap and quickly concludes with basically taking over the entire video feed with a cheerful cry of, "Muk muuuk!"

Krieg merely laughs again, even as he's enveloped in friendly sludge.]

He's even better than advertised!

[It's almost comical how easily they beat Falkner. She was expecting some sort of effort, maybe a little more strategy, but even Zeus seemed a little bored as his electric attacks downed those birds one by one.

Her excitement doesn't show as much as Krieg's, of course, but there's a grin crossing her face as she fixes the Zephyr Badge to her pack.]

It's cute that they call this a challenge.

[Since, he's noticed, the majority of people actually native to this world who challenge the gyms are literal children.]

Considering how easy it is to train the creatures here, I can't even see how children would have much trouble with this.

... The next one will likely go down the same way. Bug isn't exactly the strongest type out there.

[Thida looks positively enthused at the idea that her friend is also taking the badge challenge. She gives Krieg a big grin and a thumbs up at the news, the hubub of the Ecruteak City Pokemon Center only beginning to gear up for the morning.]
