[The video starts off with one supremely zoomed-in eye - Krieg's eye, surrounded as usual by the eyehole of his mask. Once the device is going he pulls back to a slightly less uncomfortable distance (for the viewer, anyway, let's be real here), and announces:]

MnahahAHAHA! THERE'S NO FENCE ON THIS FENCE!

[That is one proud Psycho. He flips the 'Gear so that it no longer displays his mask-covered face (you're welcome), but instead one (1) Electrode, looking like a very smug asshole, and one (1) enormous - well. That has to be a Muk, no Grimer is that big. One Muk, looking very pleased, and...just a tiny bit demure? Well, it sure is nice to know at least one of Krieg's Pokemon has some modesty.]

The Spark Ball and the Slag Stack owned the birds!

[Spark Ball lights up briefly with a crackle of smug static, while Slag Stack seems to gather itself up as if to sit (or stand?) a bit straighter, and wave one oozing limb at the camera. They are the champions, yes, it is true!]

The bug gym is next!

[Only Krieg could make a harmless announcement sound like a threat.

...But, let's be real, here; now that the Vault Crew is taking on the Gym Challenge, the bug gym's days are numbered.]

[Oh, no. MC leans in even more on Krieg's shoulder, enough to cause the man to glance over at him. He can tell the two monsters are talking to one another but who even knows what they're saying. Whatever it is seems heavy, though.

Shield Lady's wife is gone, too. She fought with the boss but it didn't seem to help.

There really isn't anything that can be done. It does suck. :c]

I can't wait to see it, Krieg. He sounds really impressive.

[... case in point, Kuro, who is attempting to reassuringly lick his metal arm again. We were going to Goldenrod to meet him. And now we're taking our time. It sucks a lot and what are they supposed to do?]

[Krieg feels the same way. He's not really the sort of guy to spend a lot of time thinking about the future, but if he were he never would have imagined this result upon stumbling into this world so many months ago.

It's good to stay close. He definitely needs you, and it's all we can do. That's Murder Chicken's advice, anyway. It's definitely unnerving that such a thing can even happen, not to mention how common it is. One day you have your trainer, and the next...they're gone.]

And I can't wait to see the Steel Hat!

[...Congrats, Kuro, you now have a Krieg nickname, too.]

He's also pretty big for a chicken, buddy.

[Honestly, talking to Krieg, in a bizarre sort of way, has done a good service to his mood. He's actually sounding legitimately lighthearted.]

[Murder Chicken's advice gets a solemn nod, and some even more solemn foot stomping. Kuro actually sort of ... looks like he's making a Patented Shiro Face for a minute there. We're sticking around. We're tough. Even Haunter. Who's probably making flower crowns for oddish somewhere.]

Steel...? Oh. Hey, what do you know? He kind of does, doesn't he?

[Shiro's remark gets another little chortle of amusement out of Krieg before he responds:] Don't they come this big where you're from?

[Krieg actually has no idea how big chickens are supposed to be. He remembers chickens - obviously. But he doesn't remember if he's ever actually seen one, before Pandora.

Kuro receives a solemn nod in turn from MC. Maybe it's all that can be done, and that's...okay. Shiro knows his 'mons are there for him, and Shield Lady does too. Even if it's just a small thing, if it helps even just a little bit, then it's enough.]

Yeah! It's a good look for him!

Maybe in space. Who knows? We haven't run into any space chickens yet.

[Yet. Because there's probably space chickens, somewhere.]

[MC is a good bird. Kuro likes him. And he has good advice the big Aggron is determined to take. He lifts a hand, though, rubbing it over his head in thought.]

He's always had that, but, yeah. Now he's got horns to go with it.

[There are definitely space chickens, somewhere. A mind-bogglingly big universe without space chickens would be a crime.]

[Shit, he does. That's no small feat for this man, whose memory is spotty even on his good days.

Although, to be fair, most days here are good days.]
