[ The video comes on and yet again, it's Danny the Lucario right up in it's business. He gives an excited bark as Ash addresses him in Irish. ]

Hey, are you sending to Anthy? [ Nope but clearly all their friends (and various strangers) should see this! Danny turned the camera, to reveal Ash standing beside a Ponyta; a rather large one for the species, whom he was affectionately petting on the nose and slowly petting through her fiery mane. She nuzzled into his hands, getting a hold of his jacket and chewing on it. He didn't mind at all, merely beaming at the Gear. ]

Anthy, thank you so, so much for this! She's so beautiful. Next time we meet up I'll bring her over, I just wanted you to see her like, immediately. I named her Amalthea. Oh shit, I should call Ford too...

[ He gently pulled his jacket free of Amalthea and checked inside. Danny moved the camera so it could catch a glimpse of a small Zubat, nestled inside and hanging upside down to snooze out of the sun's rays. Danny barked at him, making Ash frown. ] C'mon Danny, you gotta hang up first so we can call him- Wait. [ Danny laughs boisterously as Ash rubbed his face. ] Well I ain't letting you handle the camera again!

[Oh...did...did they mean to send this to everyone, or just her? Even so, Anthy can't help but smile sincerely, the background her usual cafe in Goldenrod. Amalthea, what a wonderful name.]

She's amazing, Ash. And she looks so happy.

[ Yep, it was meant to be a solo message to Anthy. But Danny had OTHER IDEAS, which is why he's getting his camera privileges revoked. ]

She is. I'll do my best to make sure she is happy though. [ Normally he plays this by ear but he's even tried to sit down and research Ponyta care. He quickly got distracted and hadn't actually taken in any info but, an attempt was made? At the mention of Rose he brightened. No doubt Rose was flourishing in Anthy's care! ] Oh hell yeah. How is she?

[At that, she takes out Rose's Pokeball and lets her out. The Oddish already looks very happy - her leaves are very healthy-looking, and she chirps happily when she sees Anthy, and toddles over to the 'gear to check it out...and then beams. It's Ash! Aaaaaash!]

We've been having a lot of fun together. She really likes to play with Setina.

Hey Rose! Having a good time with everyone there? Oh man she looks great, Anthy! [ Ash wasn't a gardener but he knew a happy Pokemon when he saw it. And with other plant types to hang out with? Yeah, he'd made a great choice in giving Rose to Anthy. ]

Yeah. [ Ash sheepishly ruffled his hair. ] I asked Danny to call her but he decided to be an arse and call everyone. Anthy's my friend and the person who gave me Amalthea! But when she was an egg.

And heck yeah it's from the Last Unicorn! See I heard that when Ponytas evolve, they actually grow a unicorn horn. That's why I wanted one. And she's a girl, so it's a perfect fit. [ Amalthea nudged his side. More pets please. He happily obliged, noticing Ashley's Crobat ] Oh hey! I seen a Pokemon like that before - that's what Zubats evolve into, right?

[She laughs a little, doesn't seem like he's opposed to continuing the conversation, so... She nods.]

With a little leveling and a lot of care. Bram's a genuine sweetheart, though, so...that wasn't too difficult. [A skittering. Time for a from-behind-wing-hug.] O-oh...! As demonstrated...! [A little giggle.]

I was looking for a unicorn Pokémon, you know, I might have to look into a Ponyta.

[ He laughed ] Oh man that's awesome! I only just hatched Drac as well - I got him from this guy named Ford. His Crobat and his...Decidueye? Think it was that - it looked like Robin Hood if Robin Hood was an owl in a grass hoodie - ANYWAY, they had eggs and I asked for one since Robin Hood looked so cool. But I still got a new friend I haven't gotten before, so I ain't gonna demand a refund.

Wish I could help; I don't know where you go to get em. I was going to keep an eye out for them too but Anthy surprised me with Amalthea.

[There is a small zubat clinging to the back of Armin's shoulder, her claws threading through his shirt, and she chitters happily at the gear. Not that she can see what is going on, being that she is both blind and echolocation don't exactly work on screens, but she can hear things! Friendly voices!]

Oh hey, you got a Zubat too? What are they like? Dracula hatched a little bit before Amalthea, but he really hates the sun so I'm keeping him safe in my jacket.

To be honest, I've only just hatched her, so I don't have much experience with them yet. Mr Pines gave me the egg though, so he might know more about them.

The pokedex says their skin is really sensitive, so I bet that is why he hates the sunlight. I've been trying to keep mine in the shadow as much as I can.

[ What a small world! He considered the sun and moved so he could open his jacket and keep the inside out of the sunlight. It looks like he's about to pull a ton of knock-off Rolex watches out of his jacket or offer you a shitton of guns. ] Hey Drac, wake up. You got a sister here! [ The little bat inside wakes up with a yawn but twitches it's ears around. Where? ]

Too right. Oi-! [ Of course, upon hearing that familiar voice Danny turns the camera to face himself and grins at Joker. He even winks. He's not just full of mischief, he is Mischief! ]

Don't know any place that would hire a Lucario who loves to dick around. And he doesn't need the encouragement anyway! [ At Ash's side, the Ponyta flicked an ear and peered at the screen. Hello. ]

My Anthy is short for Helianthus, the genus name of sunflowers, that sure is a neat coincidence though since you could prooobably tell from that I also enjoy gardening! Your Anthy sounds like a cool friend!
