So, Lana's decided to be incredibly rude and become a repeat offender.

[Diana doesn't even give an explanation of her odd choice of words. She lets the scene before her speak for itself.

Eight little Rockruff pups run around, stumbling over each other and fighting over scraps of material. There's barking and howling and general pandemonium. The area around them is just a bomb site.

One of the puppies makes it way over to Diana and makes eyes at her before it's tackled by a sibling, and they dissolve into brown whir of playful growls and nips.

There's a bark off screen and the camera follows them as the whole litter charge at a larger Rockruff and start tussling, two variations of Lycanroc watching them from a few steps away.]

Look at them, looking all proud and crap. For once, me and Merwin are on the same page.

[She focuses on a irritated looking Houndoom, who's also watching the chaos. Meanwhile, a Mightyena and Zigzagoon dart about between the puppies giddily, play bowing and eager to join the fun.

Diana sighs and just sounds so done.]

Please, please, tell me some of you want a dog?

[[ooc; All puppies have now been claimed, but please don't let this stop you from telling Diana to spay and neuter her pets!]]

A small Fennekin and Zorua are just barely visible on Cissnei's end, their ears and eyes poking into view from just underneath the camera.]

Cissnei. I'm in Pallet Town at the moment, so if you want to send them to the Pokemon Center there, I can pick them up. Or if you have a flier we can do it that way too.

[She's not going anywhere just yet so either way works for her.

Glancing at Lana in the background, Cissnei smiles at her. What a beautiful Lycanroc.]

[Lana barks and all the pups look at her. She starts nudging two puppies closer to Diana.]

[Her gaze goes to Lana and the two puppies she's nudging closer, laughing lightly. How adorable.]

Well, from what I can tell, they're the same Pokemon but, like different forms?

It's called Midday and Midnight. So I guess it has something to do with the time of day?

Well, they've got some different moves, I think? I don't really know. They're just... Lana and Ingno.

[Newt appears on the screen looking quite intrigued, focused completely on the pups as his eyes follow their romping about.]

Those are Rockruffs, are they not?

[On his shoulder, Merlin the Starly let's out a twill of amusement.]

Yep, they're Rockruffs.

[Diana gives an amused smirk at his look and whistles, causing all the puppies to turn their attention and charge over. Barreling over each other to investigate is she has anything to play with.]

And they need homes.

[Oh no. They're..they're rather cute. Newt looks like he's about to melt as he smiles softly at all of them.]

I..suppose it wouldn't hurt to take one into my care...

[He blinks and focuses on Diana finally.]

Yes, I think I'd like to take one, if that's alright with you, Miss..?

I've got boys and girls. Or is there one you like the look of?

[As she gives him a better look of the pups, a Midday Lycanroc trots over to investigate the would-be adopter through the camera.]

Oh, this is their mom, Lana.

[Newt considers the questions before getting distracted by the sight of the Midday Lycanroc, smiling warmly at her just like he had the pups.]

A pleasure to meet you as well, Lana. You have very lovely children. You must be very proud.

Ooo, 'Miss Diana'. Fancy.

[Lana watches him for a moment then then walks into the fray of her puppies.

There's a scrappy male pup nipping at the ears and tails of all siblings. Lana picks up him up by the scruff and comes back over to present him to the camera.]

Erm... I guess, what do you think of this guy?

[Oh, no. Those are definitely Rockruff.

On the one hand, dog. On the other, it's a Pokemon someone dear to him had expressed great interest in, and they're just babies in need of homes. But dogs.

After waffling for a few minutes, Anders dares to respond, but there's great reluctance in his face and voice.]

I may be interested in a pup, but I've never raised a dog before. What were the parents like growing up?

Really chill. [Diana moves over to sit beside Lana, the Midday Lycanroc.]

Lana just got stuff done and Ingno followed her around. I mean, Ingno can be kind of a joker. [She ruffles the fur of the Midnight Form Lycanroc.]

But I er, don't really like wolves and shit. But I get on with these guys okay. Took me awhile but here we are.

[purramedic]

[In spite of how much the Midnight form reminds him of some unpleasant encounters, Anders smiles at it.] I've got a few troublemakers, myself.

[For another moment, he deliberates.]

I suppose it couldn't hurt to take one in, if you recommend them so highly. [For him, "I can deal" is a 5-star review of a canine.]

[Diana spots a puppy chasing after its own tail with extreme vigor. She scoops him up and he yips excitedly.] Is this guy okay?

[Anyone with a soul would find that cute. Anders, on the other hand, is struggling not to make a comment about how stupid dogs are.]

He's certainly very... lively. I'm sure he could get along with some of the rest of my team.
