Around this time of the year, I get nostalgic for some reason.

Mostly because three months ago, there would be a giant world-ending threat happening, and all I got this year was Prom. Which was neat, until things happened.

But around this year, we met a very special girl from a fairy tale world, who I still feel harbors feelings for Miyuki. There was a big battle, Miyuki obtained her first Ultra Mode and the villain was hugged to normal. True story.

In any case, it's summer, it's the end of my vacation now, and I'm going to get back on the trail. I'm headed back to Goldenrod at the moment.

I'm writing this on the ferry now and I'll be boarding the train in a few hours. Till then, regale me with stories of your worlds, I forgot to bring a book with me.

Madoka when I get in, I wanna treat you to ice cream if that's fine. I need to tell you stories.

[Yayoi nodded, listening to every word. It sounded somewhat familiar, as if she had seen it before, but at the same time, the words rang true of another worlds' tale.]

I would imagine he would be happy to see you, if he could at that. A story like that deserves to be told.

[Cissnei's smile briefly falters but she catches herself, letting out a quiet laugh.]

It certainly does. I'm worried that people might forget, back home. That they might not realize how much he gave up to make sure our world survived.

Yeah. It's why I write and draw stories too. To make sure things are never forgotten. It takes time, and effort, but in the end it works out.

I suppose writing down everything that happened back home wouldn't be a bad idea. I've been keeping a journal about my experiences here but I never thought to do it about things from back home.

It's a start. I mean, stories that go untold I feel are some of the saddest things to come across.

You definitely aren't wrong about that. I would hate for anyone to not know what happened..

Yeah. It's why I've novelized some of my adventures into manga form.

Manga form?

People would call them comic books. It's just the regional name for comics produced in Japan, and sort of generally encapsulates a art form.

Interesting. I'm familiar with comic books; I'd never heard them called anything else before.

The language is called Japanese and the town I'm from is translated to Rainbow Hills, but it's a small town in Japan. That's where I grew up and I learned about manga and anime and stuff.

Rainbow Hills. That sounds like it would be a lovely place, if the name is appropriate to the setting I mean.

Five lights that go towards the future. Rainbow Hills. The home of the Smile Precure, and hosting the strongest connection to Marchenland, the land of fairy tales.

It's a nice place to live.

Sounds amazing. Much more interesting then where I come from.

Yeah, Marchenland is a beautiful place. There's so much to do and see there. Although it's hard to get there without the proper devices.

But it is someplace you were able to visit? I suppose traveling to different worlds isn't so strange for you at all then.

It was. We had the book that allowed us to travel to the other world. I've been to a few, like the World of Dreams for example. That was an interesting adventure.
