Anyone want to come with me? I'm guessing a bunch of us really want to challenge the gym leaders now, so we might as well travel together. I'm in Goldenrod right now, but I'm getting ready to head out.

Electric, ice, and rock. Electric is really common, and there's a flying/ground type. Why wouldn't he cover that weakness?

...Well, what would you do differently? Start with that!

For one, I'd cover my weaknesses with a Gligar. I'd have my Talonflame for ice, and my Hawlucha for rock.

Though maybe that would be better for the advanced team. Still... he doesn't seem to cover things very well.

Well, if you don't have the right pokemon, maybe it's harder to beat him? Most of the other Pokemon in Violet City are Bellsprout.

I... guess? But there's tons of Mareep around...

....Oh, right. [the sheep pokemon. Whoops.]
