Hello! Um ... I know there are a lot of really capable people here, so I was wondering if I could get some advice?

Train. Gather up everything you need. Make sure you know what you're going to do and how you're going to do it.

things I can use to make other things that I might need.

I have a habit of gathering up anything and everything I can find just in case.

I did. But it's okay, I think I'm almost ready to get her back.

[Madoka's heroes are her mom, who is smart and cool, and Mami, who is smart, cool and graceful. so, that leads her to believe that Link is also smart and cool and maybe she just caught him on a less graceful day.]

That sounds like it would be tough, though. Are there not many stores where you can buy those things where you're from?

There are but most of the towns are pretty far from one another. So while I'm traveling in between them I gather supplies as I go! Apples,
mushrooms, fish, bees, lizards, frogs, pieces of monsters; anything that's useful!

[ah, so he's an intrepid explorer type of hero! that makes — wait what.]

Pieces of monsters?

You can use different pieces of monsters to upgrade armor. If you take the pieces to one of the Great Fairies. Only they can upgrade armor and clothing. I haven't met anyone else that can.

[this should be weird to Madoka. it. well, okay, it is. but considering before she came here, she was traversing surreal witch's labyrinths with a bonafide magical girl, she's not as weirded out as she could be.]

I see! So, magic is a pretty big deal on your world? What are the fairies like?

[Hey at least he didn't mention his attempts to eat the monster parts which..well...the meals had been called Dubious for a reason.]

It is but not everyone uses it. I can't use it myself but the fairies use it to help me.

The Great Fairies are HUGE.

Really? Can they fly?

[fairies fly, right? makes sense to her.]

Well the small ones can.

I've never seen the Great Fairies fly. They like to sink down into their flower pools.

Flower pools? They sound like they're really pretty!

They are! There's always a lot of plants and vegetables growing around them and usually some smaller fairies that you can catch and keep with you in case you need them to revive you.

Your world sounds like it's really beautiful. I wish I could visit.

Most parts are! There's a lot of really neat places to explore.

Does your world not have beautiful places to visit?

It does!

I think that might be a different kind of beautiful. There are a lot of places you can visit where you can see the wilderness, but there are a lot of really big cities, too. Those are beautiful in their own way, I think.

A lot of them? How many different races live in your world?

We don't have many big cities at all.

Um. It's just humans, pretty much!

[unless you count Incubators, but Madoka's pretty sure at this point in time there's just one Kyubey.]

But there are a lot of humans — I think I read that there are at least seven billion.

Seven billion???

But there aren't any other races?

That's crazy!

It is a bit crazy to think about! The world is so big, it's sort of difficult to even imagine it.

What else other than humans live on your world?

Well there's Hylians, Zora, Gorons, Rito, Gerudo and then all of the different monsters.
