[The video opens to Ignis seated in what appears to be in a hotel location. His hair, while still neat, is hardly styled, falling across his forehead. He looks a bit more tired than usual and seems to be fumbling a little with the gear to get it set right.]

I apologize for my appearance. I just woke from ... an unpleasant dream. I can't recall.. It doesn't matter. I saw a few concerned messages on the network in regards to a Pokemon peering into the windows when they awoke. I want to report the same occurrence tonight.

[Something nudges up under him arm then a white Vulpix is climbing onto his lap. He rests a hand gently on her head to ruffle the fluffy curls there.]

Has anyone attempted to approach? Earlier today my Pidgeot attempted to accost a Phantump to less than pleasant results for him...

[Namely, Ravioli plowed head first into the ground after diving at a Phantump who teleported away.]

It was most likely due to living in a decade of darkness and terror. He was glad to have the sunlight on his back and a friend at his side as they walked towards their current destination for photographs.. The Sprout Tower.

On an honest level Ignis hardly cared about the particular landmarks as he doubted he would remember them anyway. He also was never one for enjoying locations for what they were because he was too busy worrying about the future. But, on an equal level of honesty and forthrightness in his mind... It was nice. He could continue the charade that everything was okay for awhile and that this would be a fond memory that would cut through the darkness that was life at the moment.

And Dahlia looked so delighted running ahead. She was happier without having to babysit Pimpkaboo though had been sad without seeing Puff Trouble for a few days. It was good to distract her. Oleander was at his new usual place on Ignis's shoulders and next to him was Cid.

Cid the Pancham had made it clear that he also wanted to tour and he wasn't going to take no for an answer. He had that stern look his namesake always had when demanding something so Ignis was glad to allow it. Prompto had wanted to see the sights as well. Why not really?

Do be careful. They might not be causing terrible fog, possessing bodies or stealing souls at the moment, but swarms of Ghost-types are rarely good news.

From my experiences with the type it seems even one can be a difficult enough encounter. I will keep your words in mind.

When dealing with individuals, you at least have a chance of meeting peaceful and pleasant Pokémon. Groups tend to be more... uniformly mischievous. Malicious, even.

I feel sorry for whatever trainer received my rambunctious Pumpkaboo then. He is certain to be taking advantage and getting himself into trouble.

He sounds like a handful. Or two, even. Does he favor the sort of trouble that seriously endangers others?

He mostly favored the sort of trouble that endangered myself to be perfectly honest.

Certain partnerships are... simply not meant to be. I'm sorry you had to deal with such a troublesome partner.

He mae the decision to trade himself off. I believe so he could have the opportunity to evolve. The new trainer has been trying to trade him back. I've.. declined.

...A wise decision, if perhaps an unkind one if said trainer had been under the impression that the trade would be temporary.

Perhaps I will message them and clarify the situation. Then the problem can be resolved.

Hopefully your explanation will be accepted without needing to block their number to avoid angry responses.

It would make it easier on everyone if they would just release the Pokemon and then no one would need to deal with it any longer.

Well, it seems we possibly have something in common, as unpleasant as it is.

I don't think they... meant it unkindly, not truly. But it still was a bit of a shock, for many reasons.

It was a very long time ago. I've had plenty of time to recover, though I know not everyone stays long enough for that.

Hopefully, it does not happen again. Or that mine will cause any type of injury to me. I've recovered from enough injuries in my life time.

Injuries have no permanent effect on us in this world, even those that should be fatal, but it'd still be a good idea to avoid them indeed. Surely your Pokémon will understand that.

Ah, if only I received the worst of my injuries here then.

My usual group understands that at least. They will do their best to keep an eye on me.

How kind of them. Still... I've heard of new arrivals whose old injuries were healed, to the point of allowing some to walk again. Yet not everyone receives that gift...

I am not upset. I have had ten years to adapt to my lack of sight and now I have Oleander here to help as needed.
