9th Match // [video] Sevii Islands
[The video feed kicks on and reveals one very pleased-looking Exploud. She's nestled in someone's unmade bed, and she seems to be brooding proudly over a large number of eggs.
After a few seconds of making sure the video is working, Krieg helpfully explains from behind the camera.]
The Whisper Bunny had six eggs!
[WB somehow manages to look even more self-satisfied at this announcement. That is one proud mama.]
Four have homes, two are left!
Could be a Whisper Bunny, could be a Iron Skull.
Who wants one?

Action
D'you know anyone who does?
[He's got six of these to find homes for.
...Well, five, since WB insisted he keep one, but five is still a lot.]
Action
There might be someone. His name is Kazuki. I've met him recently. He's still pretty new to this world, but he takes good care of his Pokemon. He might be interested in a new Pokemon to add to his team.

Action
[And he will, too!]
What kind of monsters are you gonna catch?
[Since Armin mentioned having his eye on some...]
Action
[Because Armin suspects that that is what Newt would prefer. He'd probably welcome any Pokemon, but with how Newt prefers to befriend his Pokemon first and give them full control over whether they will go or stay, Armin'd like to try and do the same thing. He isn't sure if he'll manage, but he can give it a shot, at least.]
Action
Who's Mister Newt?
Action
But also Newt is a good guy.]
Oh, he's someone I met here. He's... honestly, he's really amazing. He's the person who talked to Lugia and convinced it to help settle down the beasts. He's really good with animals. He seems to understand what they want and need even without words. He's helped me out with Nemesis when I needed it. He told me he takes care of magical animals back in his world.
[Ah, if only this was set after the fourth wall, then Armin could gush about the inside of Newt's suitcase.]
He gave me a book he wrote for my birthday. All about magical animals.
[Armin talks about Newt like he talks about oceans.]
Action
Teenage what now?][Krieg listens to Armin talk without interrupting, smiling under his mask. It's evident the kid really admires this Mister Newt, and that's just...really heartwarming.
And then he says something that has Krieg tilting his head to one side in confusion. Magical?]
What kind of animals? Like the monsters?
Action
Help I'm in puberty]All sorts. Though according to Mr Newt's book, you can't really keep all of them like you can keep Pokemon. Some are far too dangerous and wild.
D-do you want to see the book?
[Armin doesn't really know if Krieg has an interest in books, but this is magical animals. That would make it interesting to anyone, right?]
Action
Sorry kiddo, ain't nothing that can help with that but time.]Yeah!
[Armin's enthusiasm is contagious. He definitely wants to see whatever it is that's got Blondie all hyped up, even if it is a book!]
Action
The human body is messy and unpleasant. With Krieg agreeing, Armin hurries up to his room --his room! What an amazing thing to think still-- grabbing the book Newt had given him for his birthday before making his way back to where Krieg is. He's already had an idea of what to show Krieg first. There are tons of magical creatures in this book, but Armin doesn't think Krieg would be all that impressed by a Demiguise of Fwooper. A Crup? Forget it! An Acromantula would be more his style, but honestly, there is only one beast he can start off with.
When he comes back into the room, he's already got the book folded open --oh so delicately because he doesn't want to damage it in any way-- to a page displaying giant, fearsome looking winged creatures, showing them to Krieg.]
There are lots of animals in this book, but did you know that there are also Dragons in Mr Newt's world? Though they look a bit different from the ones here.
[Mainly a lot bigger, more terrifying, and dangerous. But that is probably exactly what Krieg would like.]
They can get up to fifteen meters long.
[The size of a titan. And probably every bit as terrifying. No, maybe even more. Dragons can fly.]
Action
He's not disappointed - the illustration is badass. Kind of like...]
It looks kinda like the Warrior!
[The Warrior had been even bigger, and hadn't had wings, and had appeared to be molded of living rock and magma, but there are still enough physical similarities to be noticeable.]
I bet it'd be a good fight!
Action
[He's not surprised that Krieg deems the dragon a good fight. He knows Krieg well enough to know that if he could meet a dragon like this right here, right now, he'd absolutely try and fight it. Knowing Krieg, if it'd try to eat him, that'd probably just make him laugh and rain down an odd mixture of compliments and threats on the creature. It's just... that's the sort of person Krieg is. It's why he showed him the dragon in the first place.]
Do you have beasts like this back in your world too?
Action
[He pauses to study the illustration a bit more, then shrugs.]
There was only one Warrior. We think. Jackoff woke it up to use it to burn Pandora to ashes, but we killed it. Mnuhuhu...and then we killed him.
[Good times.]
They could be on some other planet.
Action
Ah!]
Was it in one of those Vaults?
Action
[Man that had been a good fight, and a good day.]
Action
[In Armin's opinion, everything related to Jack is best burned. Also Jack himself.]
