[That sure is a lot of Spinda onscreen. They're being filmed from a small height; judging from the massive, steely legs gjngerly picking their way through the crowd of tottering pandas, Penny has decided to go on Metagross-back today instead of wading through the swarm herself.]

Does anyone know if this is normal for this species? The Pokédex says they can be unsteady, but they all seem so-

[The camera focuses for a second on a pair of Spinda stumbling into and over one another in a strange almost-dance.]

If it's listed as normal in the Pokédex then it has to be ok?

I hope so! But I don't think there's normally this many of them in one place.

Has anyone tried catching one yet?

That's their way of taunting us, I bet. Or a side effect of suddenly showing up in these regions, that can't be a pleasant experience

You really think they'd taunt people? ...They don't seem MALICIOUS, just. Really uncoordinated.

No, it has to be a taunt, even if their lack of coordination enhances it. Why else would they show up now, after all those months of fruitless searching?

..Looks to me like something's wrong with them. Maybe they ate something they were suppose to? Or someone did something to them.

That's what I'm worried about! I mean, there's an awful lot of them for it to be some kind of food poisoning, but... I don't know, maybe a psychic type could do something like this?

Unless someone had purposefully set out a lot of food for them.

It's possible. Have you seen any other pokemon around?

...Are they drunk? Like, Poke-drunk? Is that a thing?

I don't... know? I mean, what kind of person would give alcohol to Pokémon? And this many of them!

I don't know! Maybe there is a special kind of Pokemon alcohol. Or a Pokemon move that makes them drunk.

[Wait a sec, he's read about something like that in his more recent trainer studies...]

Like... confusion! Maybe something used confusion on them?

They look so... dizzy.

[Eep, and they're falling over themselves. Rakka's a little worried for their sake.]

I've never seen that kind of Pokemon before...

Neither have I. The Pokédex says they're called 'Spinda', but I've never seen even one of them before today.

[There's an almost literal sea of them onscreen, you could practically crowd-surf on them if they more coordinated.]

...if this is normal, at least the name is sort of accurate?

[Rakka would likely be against the idea of crowd-surfing on these poor, disoriented... bears? She thinks they're bears.]

I... [Shrug???] It could be normal; I've never seen Pokemon that act like that before.
