[There's nothing on the screen at first, just a shot of an old-fashioned looking TV sat in an empty room. The screen on the TV eventually starts flickering, flurry of static starting up--ominous letters appear on the screen:

Akira, if you put it out of context like that people will get confused. [A voice from behind the camera confirms this is apparently not a horror show, a quick turnaround does show--surprise--it's Botan.] Hello! My Rotom got a little too excited, but he was trying to say that it's seven days until St. Valentine's Day and there's a special offer going on with Honeyed Soul.

[For someone that has a couple of ghosts floating around, she seems quite cheerful, almost disarmingly so.]

I notice that some new people have come 'round lately, so if you don't know Honeyed Soul is my shop in Goldenrod, I specialize in sweets of all shapes and types. For the holiday specifically I'm offering a sale for people who might be interested in something custom for their sweethearts.

[A pause, she turns the camera over to a set of pink Pikachu-shaped cups of...parfait?]

[As Hunk speaks, Botan runs the calculations through her mind, muttering to herself a little phrases like "well at 200p per, with a dozen..." and "per pound? I don't usually measure in pounds for that..."]

--Sevii Islands?

[The mention of Sevii Islands brings a pause for a moment, gee, those islands sure are popular. On the other hand, this is a kid talking about the Sevii Islands, so...]

Pardon, I don't mean to derail your line of thought but I just want to ask something, do you know a man named Shiro?

[That definitely grabs his attention.]

Uhhh, yeah, I do actually. We're from the same world. He's the leader of our team, but also a good friend. You know him too?

Oh yes! He happens to be a very good friend of mine, one of my best friends I'd say. If you're one of his, then it's no charge, I'll get my Charizard on the delivery right away.

[Well...that was easy! Hunk apparently encountered a wild mom friend to his dad friend.]

[Hunk blinks a couple of times at the screen.]

Whoa, wait, what, seriously?? That's, that's super nice of you Miss, uhm, Miss...?

It's Botan, dear, no need to call me by any formal titles. Since Shiro's my friend and you're his friend, I would hope we can be friends too down the line.

[She just says it so casually it sounds almost reasonable.]

[When Botan mentions her hope at them being friends, Hunk snorts in amusement, and then smiles a huge, bright smile.]

Botan, anyone who gifts me delicious baked goods so generously as you have is an instant buddy. Doubly so if they're a friend of Shiros. So, consider us friends! Once I've gotten myself more situated I will totally bake you something in return too!
