[The video turns on to Armin look a bit peeved. Not exactly angry, but there is some frustration on his face there. Like someone just gathered up every sensible law of logic and took them away from him.

He seems to be on the beach (when is he not), the sound of waves and someone howling with laughter accompanying him.]

I’m sorry to bother anyone, but I have a question I was hoping someone could answer. [a small frown.] Perhaps a breeder would know…

[He turns the camera around to focus on a cute clutch of eggs in the sand. Nothing out of the ordinary there. Just some nice poke-eggs.]

I came home from work to discover these. I suppose it was somewhat inevitable with how many Pokemon we have running around, but—

[The camera moves again to focus on an Incineroar who looks very proud of himself. In fact, when Polo realises the camera is on him, he purrs with obvious delight, thrusting out his chest. Yes. Yes, look at him. He is the one who did it. He made these happen. He is the father and very proud of it.

The camera moves to the side to focus on another very proud Pokemon. Well, part of a very proud Pokemon. Armin is too close to his Wailord to really get a proper shot of her, so mostly what is on view is the front of her massive head. She’s pushed herself partway onto the sand, slapping her giant tail on the water, letting out a half sung Wail.]

Could anyone please explain how these two managed to have a clutch of eggs? I understand about egg groups, but I cannot see how Polo managed to, well—

[Bump uglies. Do the deed. Form the beast with two backs. Sex. Armin is talking poke-sex.]

I mean, even disregarding the size difference, Polo hates water. He won’t go into it. And Amber cannot really go on land. It just—

[Armin makes a wordless noise of frustration which seems to bring forth another wave of laughter from the second person there. The camera moves once more, but this time it is less focused as if Armin is fumbling with it to turn it off. For a moment, it settles on Jean who is using one hand to wipe the tears of laughter out of his eyes, and the other to high five his Incineroar, prompting a

[Excuse Kazuki for a moment while he looks up those two Pokemon in his gear's dex... Yup, field group. Makes sense for Incineroar, who starts out as a little cat, but Wailord? That thing isn't spending any time on the ground!]

[Kazuki's obviously thinking about the physical logistics of the matter himself, and-- yep, there he goes. He's blushing.]

[Armin just. Scrubs his face for a moment. Because this is a lot to mentally wrap his whole brain around.]

I thought I had started to understand the pokemon here enough not to be surprised like this anymore.

None of mine have shown any, uh-- Interest in each other like that. Even though they say I'm a breeder, and maybe I should be encouraging it? But I just don't...

[Kazuki's a huge romantic dope and Pokemon should be in love to do stuff like that, right???]

That's Jean's Incineroar, right? Polo? [They've met before!] Has he always liked Amber?

I didn't know they liked each other until they surprised us like this.

[Armin is... not a complete failure in the field of romance. He can read some of the signs. Well, at the very least he can read them better than Eren can who seemingly still hasn't figured out Mikasa's interest in him is not entirely sisterly. And he can certainly see how Donner and Blitz are in love. And even how Jonathan and Mina seem to be growing closer together. And, of course, that Baily and Amadeus are a power-couple that cannot be doubted.

I wasn't even aware they hung out much. Polo is terrified of water. Whenever he misbehaves, we use this little spray bottle of water to chase him off.

Actually, that works really well for all our Incineroars...

That makes sense! Since he's a fire type and a cat. He should hate water in two ways.

I guess Pokemon just... [Gosh this is still hard for him to say!] Do the do, for no reason sometimes? Or maybe they wanted to surprise you? You wanted more Wailords, right?

I do. I talked about that with Amber too, so maybe she took matters into her own... fins, I guess.

Of course, we won't know what is inside until they hatch. I had initially intended to breed her with a Ditto some time so I'd know for sure there'd be Wailmer eggs, but with Polo in the mix...

You might get some Littens that like to swim, or a bunch of Wailmer that roll around on land?

[They can learn Rollout naturally, right? It's possible!]

Or maybe she doesn't like Ditto! Tho' from what I've heard, Ditto don't have any reservations like that...

Littens that like to swim... that would be quite a sight, I think. Our Incineroars are deadly afraid of water.

[But if he gets some littens that enjoy water, then he'll never be able to tame those with his trusty spray bottle.]

Dittos seem... uh, very accommodating in that regard. Jean's doesn't mind Blitz and Donner using it to create tons of eggs. Though... I'm not sure if it is right to call it Jean's Ditto exactly.

Haha, yeah. I've got one of his baby Voltorbs-- Amp! He's a really great fighter, which is good, 'cause most of my Pokemon don't like it.

Has he not actually caught it? Does it just follow him around or something?

I guess, in a way you could say he caught it. I mean, its Pokeball does belong to Jean but...

[Armin is really musing here. Is a pokemon really yours if you didn't throw the ball yourself? Or that you basically got it because your domineering, dictatorial electrode forced it on you?]

I think it is more accurate to say Blitz forced it on Jean.

Really? How? I mean, that Electrode of his sure has a personality on him, but did he catch the Ditto for him?
