[ Oh god it's this guy again. Ash is kicking back in his chair, giving the camera a sheepish, yet relaxed look. Around him are several of his Pokemon; there's a Pumpkaboo in his lap and a Jigglypuff sat right beside him, with a Scyther stood by his chair with a Vivillon perched on the dull side of a his blade. A Cottonee is floating on some light breeze over the Jigglypuff, and a Dusclops is tending to a box full of Pokemon Eggs, sat safely on a table. ]

So! Valentines happened and all. I had a pretty good day, and it seems some of my Pokemon had a good Valentine's day too! So I've got some eggs for sale; Bladerunner and Étain are basically married, as you can tell- [ The Vivillon fluttered to the Scyther's shoulder, kissing his cheek. He turned his head a little to her, but clearly wasn't as open to public displays of affection. ] but the others I think are more friendship kids. But yeah there's these two, Psychopump and Jacob here- [ He put a hand on the Pumpkaboo in his lap and gestured to the Dusclops who was standing beside the eggs, making sure they were covered with blankets and secure, offering a wave. ] and Morrigan and David Bowie. [ At his name, the Jigglypuff drew himself up proudly and winked to the camera. The Cottonee on the other hand, floated over to Ash. Catching her eye, he nodded respectfully to her and she settled by his shoulder. ]

Oh, there's one more egg but the parents aren't here; Scuabtuinne and Ronan had one too! Scuabtuinne is my Lapras, she's amazing, and Ronan is my Brionne. He's a sweet lad! So if you're interested in any of em, let me know!

If you haven't already found someone interested and if the parents were alright with it..I would be very open to taking on Scuabtuinne and Ronan's egg.

[Newt is actually out by the pond that houses his twin girls as he responds to the video but! Is that a third Lapras playing around in the water behind him?]

I must admit I've grown rather fond of Lapras in particular so if it does hatch into one I would be thrilled though I've yet to raise a Popplio so I would be equally as thrilled about that as well.

[ If anything, Ash is glad it's Newt who's asking about the Lapras egg. Yeah he knows that the baby wouldn't have any memories of what happened to their mum, but he was just a little protective over Scuabtuinne in general. ]

Oh yeah sure! I mean, they've said it's okay for me to put the egg up for sale but dya wanna see Ronan and Scuabtuinne?

Looks like you've got quite a pod there already too. [ Ash can't talk and he has friends (and a boyfriend) who are way worse when it comes to gathering a certain species or type. ]

[Newt always likes to ask for permission from trainer and Pokemon; that's just how he is.

Ash's comment makes him glance back and his smile turns fond--and maybe a bit sad.]

I suppose I do. One is a rather new addition. It..seems his trainer may have recently left this place. He and another Pokemon ended up in my PC with someone else's name as their original trainer. It was rather strange and had never happened to me before.

[ Ash rose to head outside, soon joined by a Pichu who climbed up his leg to his hip, until Ash could get a hold of her and set her on his shoulder. ]

Yeah that's. That's happened to me before. I inherited two from different people. One had been rescued from Team Rocket, and another I had actually given to her before she went so...yeah. It's kind of sad and awkward just cos, in my cases, we were both missing their trainers and ended up being thrown together. But we're good now.

Oh this isn't one of them by the way. [ He pat An Toirneach, who squeaked and waved energetically to Newt. HI THERE. ]

The best thing we can do for them is our best. Give them a safe place to stay and surround them with love. Care for them as if they were our own.

[Which is what Newt intended to do with any Pokemon that ended up in his care.

He can't help but chuckle despite the previously somber mood, waving at An Toirneach.]

Prompto saw the video and decided to pop over to Ash's place, considering they were neighbors. He brought Pryna along as well as Chibi, hoping the younger Eevee would enjoy some time with Macavity.

"Hey, Ash! It's Prompto. I was wonderin' if we could chat about the eggs?" His voice carries as he approaches the backyard, not wanting to cross into his friend's property without making sure the other was okay with it.

Ash just about heard Prompto, although his Pokemon definitely heard and let him know. "Hey! And sure!" He met Prompto at the door, still carrying Psychopump in his arms. She yawned, showing off her sharp little teeth. Don't mind her, she's beyond laid back.

"Come on in man, you wanna see them or something?" He led Prompto to the egg box. Jacob smiled and rumbled lowly to say hello. He's a big sweetie.

"Sure! I actually wanted to talk to you about the Cottonee egg." Prompto gave Psychopump a gentle pat to her head, cooing at her adorable yawn.

When they reached the egg box, the blond grinned at Jacob before continuing his train of thought. "So I know Morgana is kinda ... different, and I'm really wanting to buy her egg from you so I was wondering if you could tell me more about Morgana. I-if you don't mind."

He scratched the back of his neck nervously, knowing it was an awkward question but wanting to have an idea of what to expect with the Cottonee he hoped to acquire.

"Ah right." Ash deposited Psychopump on the sofa and quickly pulled Prompto aside, as Morrigan was clearly giving them both 'the look'. The one that meant that she's going to be evaluating their every move when they came back. In the kitchen, Ash went to the fridge to get out a can of coke. "You want one?"

"Okay so, Morrigan. She goes by fairy culture stuff from back home...it's, kinda weird how well she matches up to those customs." From what he'd gathered from Noctis, Prompto wouldn't know about any of that since they didn't exist in their world.

"So, the thing is, they have a very different worldview to us. Like, one thing to immediately warn you; don't say 'thank you' to her. Don't. When you take the egg, don't say it! Cos to the fae, that's you trying to get out of repaying them. It'd be like, you doing me a favour and then me giving you a crumbled up bit of paper to repay you. With I.O.U. five quid written on it in pencil." Ash explained. "When Morrigan does something for me, I gotta make sure I actually do something for her. Even if it's like, brushing out her cotton."

Prompto shook his head at the offer of soda and listened eagerly to what Ash told him. He had no idea what a fairy was, or what a quid was, but this information mattered and he'd save his questions until his friend was finished speaking.

A little wide eyed at just the first rule, he stuttered a bit. "Uh, w-what if I say thank you and ask what I can do for her? 'Cuz I'm pretty sure saying thank you is almost as reflexive for me as apologizing..."

He's already worried that he'll wind up offending both mother and child at this rate, and he felt his body start fidgeting. "Like, I'm totally down with the whole repayment thing. Seriously, zero problems with that. B-but I'm pretty sure I'll accidentally say thanks too and I really don't wanna get Morrigan angry. Or upset her baby."

[Hermione has her nose in yet another book, but someone's ears (?) have perked up hearing the feed. A devious grin, a cheeky giggle and CLICK! The video feed now shows a mischievous Misdreavus swooping around playfully on the screen.]

[Umbra eagerly points to one of the eggs next to the Dusclops. SHE NEEDS A PARTNER IN CRIME, ARCEUS DAMMIT! To heck what her trainer thinks!]

[ Ash smiled to the Misdreavus, as Jacob turned and waved to the fellow ghost. ]

Hey there. You want one of Jacob's eggs? Though, from what they've told me, they're both Pumpkaboo eggs, like Psychopump here. [ He held up Psychopump, who gave the Misdreavus a lazy hello. ]

[Misdreavus giggles and twirls in the air. Yay a Pumpkaboo buddy! All the fun things they can do together! Best. Day. Ever! Well...until it hatches. Then that'll be the best day ever. As long as it's not a stick in the mud, but most Pumpkaboo she'd met had been great fun.]

[She nods and makes a ghostly equivalent of a thumbs up, then winks at Psychopump.]

[ Psychopump smiled and hummed to her fellow ghost. Oh yeah she's no stick int he mud. Just....very very lazy. Ash gave the Misdreavus a suspicious look, but he's still smiling... ]

[Pffft, who cares if her trainer wants one or not. She does, and what Umbra wants, Umbra gets! Besides, she was positive her trainer would just love to have another addition to her crew. Umbra nods vigorously, smiling. She'd even watched Hermione change funds over on the mechanical doohickey she was currently using. Piece of cake!]

I'm not looking for anymore partners right now-- I'm kinda focusing on Azuma right now-- but your Pokemon are all so cute! It's totally sweet when they pair up like people do. None of mine are really interested in each other like that... They're all friends, but none of them are in love.

Well, only two of mine are really together like that! Far as I'm aware anyhow. [ Ash looked over to Bladerunner and Étain. Étain is clearly very much in love, while the Scyther is gently accepting her affections, while still trying to seem hard and withdrawn. ]

Oh, and Danny's basically married. He's with my friend- my ur- he's with Noctis' starter too, I mean!

I've got all sorts of different egg groups going on too, so I guess there's not much opportunity!

Danny's your Lucario, right? And Noctis...[Kazuki notices that stumble, but he doesn't say anything about it.] I only know his Popplio. Who's his starter?

Okay get this; her name's Bean. She's a Snorlax! So ur, imagine a marshmallow but it's about six feet tall.

But yeah, they're super in love. They tried to have eggs but couldn't...the different egg groups thing. But! It turns out they got given a pair of eggs from someone else on our team, so they could be parents too! They recently hatched too!

[ He gets up, eager to go see Danny and his 'son' ] The only thing is, he and Bean named the babies so, I just found this new Pokemon registered in my Gear. One is registered with me, the other's with Noctis since, ya know.

[Someone is looking rather intrigued by said Pokemon, chewing on the inside of her cheek thoughtfully for a moment as Dazzle the Cutiefly settles on her shoulder, waving cheerily at everyone.]

Would it be possible for me to purchase two of their eggs?

Yeah it is! [ Étain waved back to Cissnei and Dazzle, while Bladerunner considered them warily. Don't mind her armour, he's just, very careful. ]

You want two of em? Dya want one to be a Scyther cos, I kind of only have Scatterbug eggs left.

Actually two Scatterbugs is what I was after. I have a bit of a fondness for things with wings and I haven't gotten myself any butterfly Pokemon yet, surprisingly. I thought this might be a good place to start.

Ah, that's perfect then! They actually have different patters when they evolve. I dunno now it works though, so I can't say if they'll look the same as Étain. I don't think it changes like, their moves or what they do in battle.

[It's a nice afternoon so Roxas is relaxing against a tree somewhere outside of Violet City, having a snack. The decoy head of a mimikyu is visible beside the boy, the gear held between his knees so he can keep his hands free to eat. Every so often a flash of orange can be seen and the sound of a magikarp flopping around next to Roxas. It's a veritable picnic outing.]

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but... What are the eggs for? Do you eat them? Do different types taste better or worse?

[ While Ash didn't take offense and most of the Pokemon just seemed confused at the idea of eating a Pokemon egg, the Vivillon immediately gasped in horror at the idea. Who would eat her precious eggs?? The Scyther scowled at Roxas darkly. To the side, Jacob picked up the eggs and moved them out of this guy's line of sight. Seemed wise.

Ash just shook his head and waved one of his hands. ]

No way dude! You don't eat 'em; they're all fertilized eggs, so they'll hatch into baby Pokemon! And they can be either the dad or the mum's species. So the eggs from Psychopump here; [ He lifted up the Pumpkaboo in his lap ] will be her species, or they'll be from the same line as their Dad, Jacob. [ He gestured to the Dusclops, who poked back into frame now the eggs are tucked away. ]
