[The video coming on is somewhat accidental. Whoever is fumbling with it was clearly trying to get it out of wherever it was--a pocket? A bag?--and they must have flipped it on in the process. After a few seconds they manage to get it out of wherever it was stuck and the video goes a bit crazy as the ‘gear clatters to the ground.

A soft glow illuminates the room briefly as a Minior comes into view, the red little star Pokemon smiling dumbly at the screen before it’s suddenly grabbed--well, more like hugged, actually, as a little girl comes into view.]

Did it break, Little Dipper? Oh, hey, I think it’s recording--hi everyone that can see this!!

[Mabel grins and picks her ‘gear up with her free hand, her Minior currently tucked underneath her other arm and looking rather pleased about it.]

I’m Mabel and this is Little Dipper! Oh and this is my brother Dipper!

[Cue her turning the camera on her brother.]

Dipper say hi!

[There’s a boy in the background, with a Phantump floating next to him. They seem to be studying where they are. At least they were, before Dipper turns to see the gear pointed at him.]

Mabel! What are you doing? No one needs to see this!

Don’t be such a spoilsport, Dipper! It’s just a new adventure!

[Under her arm, Little Dipper thrummed though whether it was in agreement or just because he could was hard to say.]

Plus we can’t be the first people to end up here…

[By now it should be clear that they are in a jail cell. Dipper folds his arms]

For trying to steal an old ladies kittens? Or should I say, accessory to SOMEONE trying to make off with a bunch of kittens?

If you had helped we totally could have gotten away but noooo!

You shouldn’t have been doing it in the first place! Now we have to break out of jail! ...uh...ignore that last part people ….. I meant serve our time….

[Whispers to Mabel.]

I really think you should stop broadcasting this now….

[Insert a snort from Mabel as she turns the ‘gear back on herself properly and playfully rolls her eyes.]

Don’t mind him! He’s just nervous because the Jenny ladies said we have to stay here for a few days. Anyway, maybe someone out there watching knows how we can get out of here, Dipper! Did you ever think of that??

[Cue her sticking her tongue out as Little Dipper thrums again.]

Yeah and their advice is probably going to be, you got arrested, do your time.

[Meanwhile his own pokemon is examining the bars and lock. Dipper is just going to move to hide the pokemon from the view of the gear.]

Maybe, maybe not! Only one way to find out! [A pause as she looks over at them and narrows her eyes, slowly grinning.] What’s Crafty doing?

Uh...nothing...nothing...just um looking around! Right Crafty?

[The Phantump looks over and nods...very normal]

...You two are trying to break out aren’t you??

Mabel turn the gear off!

Oh you are so going to break us out of here! Go Crafty go! You can do it!

[There is a sudden child scramble for the gear and in the chaos it gets turned off.]

If there are, we can't see them. The government tells us what kind of books and stuff we can and can't read. But to be honest, they probably don't know either.

[Or so she assumes. Not like the kids know the absolute dirty truth of things. Most of the adults don't either.]

You have to slice open the nape of their neck. That's the only place they can't regenerate from. Everywhere else is just a waste of time.

[He does. He does, and he's glad, but he knows that kind of recovery takes time. Even Stan needed a week to come back from just one hit. Fiddleford had a lot more damage to undo.]

That seems plausible. I'm sure he'll be able to give you a more exact timeframe, if you ask.

It's across the pacific ocean from us if you wanted to go the shorter route. Which considering it's the world's largest ocean is still pretty far.

Well, I guess they're hiding all their money. And the good food. They're royalty and you can't really trust royalty anyway when they look down on you. And I don't know what dystopian means anyway, but I doubt that's what it is.

[There's a lot Sasha doesn't exactly know about the government. People talk and whisper and she knows that the higher ups and the inner circle residents are full of it, but she doesn't ask. Asking gets people into trouble and she doesn't want to be forced to run until she dies again.]

Our instructor said that's where their nervous system is, their weak spot. I'm not sure why it's there exactly, but that's where it is. That's why we need our maneuver gear to get all the way up there and why we had to train for three years to use it properly.

Specific Ocean?

I told her she could find Miss Bonnie a boyfriend and breed more Skitties. Maybe if you told her that there's a boyfriend waiting for Miss Bonnie out on the route right now, it'd work.

.....yeah they probably know more then they're letting on. And a dystopian just means a bad or terrible place. It's usually used when there's an apocalypse and or the government goes all crazy controlling on people.

With our maneuver gear. I would show it to your if I had it here, but it lets us get up high enough to get to their napes. It's not easy to use, though. I mean, balancing while in it is easy, but after a while it leaves you really sore and you just want to lie in bed, but then your trainer comes and drags you out of bed and tells you to run until you die for being so lazy so you just have to deal with it.

[She may be speaking from experience. Plenty of experience.]

I can't imagine what this place looks like. It sounds really huge.

Then she should become a Pokemon breeder. Someone is always looking for eggs around here!
