[He'd read up on eevees. He'd done a lot of reading. He'd looked into all the different evolutions and had set his sights on trying to turn Gongaga into a Jolteon. It just seemed like a good route to go.

Cloud would have accomplished this were it not for the fact that his little eevee had grown extremely attached to him...and then learned a fairy move when it leveled up next.

Cue a slightly irritated blonde coming over the network holding a rather pleased looking Sylveon in the crook of one arm, the fairy-type's fleshy tendrils wrapped around Cloud's arm as it nuzzles against him.]

...I have a feeling this evolution is suppose to be cute but it's kind of unnerving.

[Gongaga chirps happily at him, peering up at him with absolute adoration in it's eyes.]

There's no way to change him back, is there?

[He knows the answer but a part of him is holding out hope, okay.]

Guess I'll have to wait and see what happens when mine evolve. [They would, right?]

There a chance they won't go back into their Poke Ball once they get bigger?

Guess so. [They should. If you take care of them and train them.]

I don't think size matters, at least that's the gist I'm getting.

Right. [He's actually relieved that size doesn't come into it because he doesn't fancy having all six of his Pokémon trailing behind him on the open road. Too much fuss. Poke Balls sound the better option.]

I know the limit is six Pokémon in your party. It would get messy if you had more than six trailing behind you.

Extremely messy. You can swap Pokemon in and out of your team anytime you're at one of the Pokemon centers, though.

I heard that, yeah. [He had how many in his party now? It must be nearing the point where visiting Pokémon Centres would be second nature to him.]

Weird to see those little balls go on that machine in the Centres when they heal up.

It...pokeballs are still really strange to me. [He can't really figure them out. At all.]
