[He'd read up on eevees. He'd done a lot of reading. He'd looked into all the different evolutions and had set his sights on trying to turn Gongaga into a Jolteon. It just seemed like a good route to go.

Cloud would have accomplished this were it not for the fact that his little eevee had grown extremely attached to him...and then learned a fairy move when it leveled up next.

Cue a slightly irritated blonde coming over the network holding a rather pleased looking Sylveon in the crook of one arm, the fairy-type's fleshy tendrils wrapped around Cloud's arm as it nuzzles against him.]

...I have a feeling this evolution is suppose to be cute but it's kind of unnerving.

[Gongaga chirps happily at him, peering up at him with absolute adoration in it's eyes.]

There's no way to change him back, is there?

[He knows the answer but a part of him is holding out hope, okay.]

I hadn't really been thinking about any other fairy types..I was trying to balance things out a bit.

[Insert a slightly flustered look here.]

A nice varied team definitely helps things, yeah... But have ya tried buyin' TMs for yer team?

Yeah! They’re these handy little doodads that teach yer Pokemon moves they don’t know naturally! Goldenrod has a bunch of shops for 'em.

I'll have to keep that in mind. I didn't know I could teach them moves using other methods.

If yer goin' after the gyms, it'll be good for ya ta know that things like that are among the prizes you'll get for beatin' them. Real useful, too- ya don't get 'em anywhere else.

I'll keep that in mind. The person I'm traveling with is set on taking on some of the gyms. I figured I may as well try since we'll be there anyway.

Ha! So yer more a tag along there than anythin’, huh?

I guess? I mean, I've been training my Pokemon a bit but I'm not sure if gyms are anything I'm really all that concerned about.

But if there's stuff I can get to further my pokemon's training..

Then it’s more than worth it. Money and somethin’ ta help for trainin’- what more can ya ask for?
