Twenty-fourth Sacrament: Otherworld
There's something wrong.
The footage shows...somewhere. It's not clear where it is. The ground is nothing but rugged rock and there seems to be construction in the distance. But the sky is blood red - not the soft orange of a setting sun but a hellish red. Despite it's glow, the world seemed dark. Almost grimy, with strange rust covering the rocks around. The scene was in front of some kind of ruined building, covered in red rust and scorch damage. The usual background music that played had been replaced with something far more ominous, giving no further clues about where the footage was taking place. It repeatedly corrupts, flashing a strange symbol before cutting back to the scene. Strange cries echoed in the distance.
A Solrock hovered in front of the husk of a building, surprisingly clear of the corruption around it and turning, like a wheel. And with it was Walter. Something was wrong with him as well. His gaze was blank. His clothes were stained with blood. He only turned his head slowly up to the Solrock hovering in front of him and for a moment, as the Solrock's eyes shone, his eyes glowed red. The Solrock stopped turning, looking at him with a blank expression. He murmured to it, only just audible on the video. "I knew you would find me again."
The Solrock's expression didn't change. It's eyes glowed again, and something lifted from Walter's bag - an Ultra Ball. The ball floated towards the Solrock, lightly tapping it. The moment the Solrock disappeared into the ball, the world righted itself; red sky to a starry night, blood and rust vanishing, the mansion disappearing, music fading back to it's usual, cheery tone and the weird echoing cries of strange Pokemon replaced with the chirps of Fletchlings and Wingulls.
Walter collapsed. The Gear fell as well. All that could be seen was the Ultra Ball, landing in front of it. It shook once, then clicked shut.

Walter? Walter??
[If there was ever a time Cissnei wished she was back in Kanto it was now.]
Walter please--Claudia? Assumption?
[Some of his other Pokemon had to be there with him right? He couldn't have gone there alone--unless that Solrock had led him there purposefully alone.]
[Video]
He looks tired and drained and was holding his head. Assumption was nestled at his side and a Luxray prowled around him, still looking around with gleaming eyes for the danger. ]
Cissnei?
[Video]
Are you alright?
[Video]
Assumption squeezed him tightly. ]
[Video -> Private]
[She wouldn't hesitate.]
That Pokemon...are you...it may not be wise to keep it with you, Walter.
[Video -> Private]
[ He lowered his gaze to the ball in his hand. ]
It's from the Sun. Like Alessa. And what it's shown me is... [ He mumbled something ]
[Video -> Private]
[As far as she knew Alessa and Walter got along just fine. Whatever that Solrock had been doing..
Cissnei frowns softly.]
Walter? What did it show you?
Re: [Video -> Private]
The otherworld. It was how the world looked back in Silent Hill, or Ashfield.
I think, it's an agent of Valtiel.
[Video -> Private]
[Was it because Walter himself was here? Was it some sort of bleeding effect?]
Walter, are-- [She was visibly worried now, looking at Assumption then to Walter again.] Where are you headed? Or, rather, where were you headed?
[Video -> Private]
[ He looked around, to take notice of where he was, and corrected himself. ] I was... no. I am still on Cinnabar. I'm intending to go to Viridian, past Pallet.
[Video -> Private]
Will you be alright getting there? It...maybe going back to where you were before would be a good idea? That Pokemon seemed to do quite a number on you, Walter.
[Video -> Private]
[ He's still disorientated so he's not thinking about flying. ]
I'll sleep at the Centre, and press onwards tomorrow. And place this Pokemon in the Box for now... if it will permit it.
[Video -> Private]
[She folds her arms, watching him closely, not bothering to hide her worry.]
Promise me that's what you'll do. Sleep at the Centre, I mean. I have a feeling that Pokemon is going to be a bit of a problematic one but we can worry about that later. I just want you to be well rested and able to continue since you seem rather intent on pushing forward..
[Video -> Private]
[ Chaos rumbled and nudged him to his feet, padding alongside him protectively. Assumption kept hold of his hand, like a child guiding their parent. ]
[Video -> Private]
[She may already be putting together a small travel plan of her own.]
After Viridian you're heading to Pewter, I assume?

[Once she's back in Kanto it'll make things easier. Not that she's going to tell him that's what she's doing just yet.]
I really don't want to see another video like that, Walter.
[That..might be the slightest note of fear in her voice.]

Be safe, Cissnei.
