Twenty-fourth Sacrament: Otherworld
There's something wrong.
The footage shows...somewhere. It's not clear where it is. The ground is nothing but rugged rock and there seems to be construction in the distance. But the sky is blood red - not the soft orange of a setting sun but a hellish red. Despite it's glow, the world seemed dark. Almost grimy, with strange rust covering the rocks around. The scene was in front of some kind of ruined building, covered in red rust and scorch damage. The usual background music that played had been replaced with something far more ominous, giving no further clues about where the footage was taking place. It repeatedly corrupts, flashing a strange symbol before cutting back to the scene. Strange cries echoed in the distance.
A Solrock hovered in front of the husk of a building, surprisingly clear of the corruption around it and turning, like a wheel. And with it was Walter. Something was wrong with him as well. His gaze was blank. His clothes were stained with blood. He only turned his head slowly up to the Solrock hovering in front of him and for a moment, as the Solrock's eyes shone, his eyes glowed red. The Solrock stopped turning, looking at him with a blank expression. He murmured to it, only just audible on the video. "I knew you would find me again."
The Solrock's expression didn't change. It's eyes glowed again, and something lifted from Walter's bag - an Ultra Ball. The ball floated towards the Solrock, lightly tapping it. The moment the Solrock disappeared into the ball, the world righted itself; red sky to a starry night, blood and rust vanishing, the mansion disappearing, music fading back to it's usual, cheery tone and the weird echoing cries of strange Pokemon replaced with the chirps of Fletchlings and Wingulls.
Walter collapsed. The Gear fell as well. All that could be seen was the Ultra Ball, landing in front of it. It shook once, then clicked shut.

Walter? Walter??
[If there was ever a time Cissnei wished she was back in Kanto it was now.]
Walter please--Claudia? Assumption?
[Some of his other Pokemon had to be there with him right? He couldn't have gone there alone--unless that Solrock had led him there purposefully alone.]
He looks tired and drained and was holding his head. Assumption was nestled at his side and a Luxray prowled around him, still looking around with gleaming eyes for the danger. ]
Cissnei?
Are you alright?
Assumption squeezed him tightly. ]

[Oh god, he was starting to shake, this is just .....no it couldn't be the town it couldn't be it. But then Walter collapses and Harry has to sit down, he's shaking so much.]
Walter? Walter, can you hear me?
Video
He seemed tired when he answered. ]
Hello Harry.
Video
Good, you remember your name at least. Do you remember what day it is?
[Oh good pokemon are there. He'll look over at the two with Walter. Hopefully they'll answer him or at least nod or something.]
I'm sorry I don't know your names. But do you know if he hit his head when he passed out? If it he did, he may have a concussion.

[ Potya yowls at the gear, patting at it to try and wake Walter up, as if it could actually do anything. ]

What the HELL just happened?

Walter was tired when he responded, and didn't look great. He still looked distant, like he wasn't entirely there. Assumption was pressed to his side, as if to try and tether him to reality, while his Luxray, Chaos, was snarling at anything that so much as looked his way. ]
That was the Otherworld.
Re: Video
Second...HOW?! Did your pokemon like warp reality or something?

Walter retrieved the gear (and, after a pause, the pokeball lying beside it) but he still looked tired and not completely there. ]
This was on...

You scared the shit out of me.
What happened? There was a... thing? A Pokemon? You dropped like a rock.

[Hey you..alright there, new/old friend?
Mabel was frowning in worry, Hambone the Espurr peeking over her shoulder.]
What the heck was that thing???
I think... it was an agent of Valtiel.
[Valtiel? What the heck was that?]
You didn't hurt yourself when you fell, did you? You should go see one of the nurses!

[She had no idea that Solrocks could do that-- in fact, still has no idea, even as she's hitting the call button. Her first thought is that something's happening-- something like those weird weekends (but it's not time for one of those yet, it's too early...), or the time a Shedinja sucked everyone's souls out of their bodies like mussels from their shells and let them ping-pong around each others' ethereal consciousnesses for a bit.]
Walter? WALTER?
Walter, what the fuck was that?
Are you okay?!
While he saw Heather, he didn't seem to look at her. His gaze was faraway, like he was still in that weird rift. ]
....I'm fine. [ But he's not fine. It's so obvious he's really not fine. ]
I... don't think I believe that.

He was, however, concerned about Walter.]
You should get rid of that Pokemon before it does something else.
[He doesn't feel bad saying it, his eyes narrowed as Flood sits on his shoulder looking uncharacteristically serious with her arms crossed and her own eyes thin slits that are barely visibly.
She didn't like that thing one bit.]
Are you going to be alright?
no subject
[ He can't just get rid of it. He can't. He didn't say he was fine. He just shook his head tiredly. ]
This was how it was, back in my world.

[He already wants to destroy that Pokemon and he hasn't even met it in person yet.]
