Finally made it to Mahogany! It's a cute little place. I think I might hang out here for a while.

So since the roads are clear, and things are settling back to normal... you know what that means!

Time to start seriously planning the Pokemon Games!

What are the Pokemon Games, some of you are asking? They're going to be a competition to show off Pokemon and Trainer skills other than battling! What kind of competitions? Well, we're not entirely sure yet! We've got a lot of ideas, like races and showing off talents and obstacle courses that require a full Pokemon team working together...

But it's still just an idea. I was working on it with a friend, and she went home. I definitely can't do this by myself! So anyone who wants to lend a hand, this is your official call to sign up!

We need you!

It sounds interesting! I don't think I could be much help, but a contest showing off abilities besides battling is definitely something I want to see. Where do you think you'd be holding it?

Mahogany is...definitely pretty far from where I am, I'm going to guess. Hopefully I can get there in time to see these games! What sort of events were you thinking of holding?

Nice to meet you, too! I've been here a while now. Geeze, almost a year...

Anyway, don't worry, it's not happening any time soon! There's a lot of work to get done. We're thinking any events that can show off Pokemon's skills, and how well teams work together. That kind of stuff is just as important as battling!

Yeah, it’ll definitely help. I figured we’ll probably want ta look at places around the outside a town just for the space alone, but if there’s gonna be water or open sky, all that, it’s good ta know.

Yeah, that was the original plan. The area around Mahogany looks like it could work really great, but I haven't inspected anywhere or anything.

Oh boy...uh...

Racing. Feats of strength. An obstacle course that requires a full six Pokemon team working together. Creative expression - like sculpting or making art or music with abilities.

I...have some notes here somewhere in my bag...

Maybe some kind of dance competition? Though you'd have to figure out how to score it... and some Pokemon don't have legs, I guess. Or arms.

Maybe accuracy competitions? Like target shooting. And there's different sorts of races you could have, depending on if you hold them on the ground, in the water, or in the air.

But if you need help with organization, I can probably help with that.

I'm trying to think of Olympic sports... weight lifting? I guess some of these are kind of hard with so many species around.

Yeah, maybe...maybe it could be set up like wrestling, with weight classes. So a Wooper isn't going up against a Charizard or something...

He vaguely recalls this from before, mind, but now that it's come up again... Heh. So many possibilities.]

Well, there's flying, for one. Aerial stunts, maybe? Surfing competition might be cool, though that might be a bit tough to balance in terms of size and speed...

I really like that 'aerial stunts' idea! And I know we can figure something out for a water event.

Sounds thrilling, right? Though it might be good to break 'em into different brackets... or focus on what makes the performances stand out rather than how fast a Pokémon is.

Otherwise, slower fliers might be at a slight disadvantage.

Yeah, focus it more on the stunts than speed...

I wish I had more flying types, I don't know as much about them.
