[Excuse the shaky view as Sasha sets the gear up on the floor in front of her, giving the public as large a view of her sitting on the floor by her bed cross-legged. She rubs at her nose a few times, glancing off screen anxiously before she turns back to the 'gear and addresses the public at large.]

How do you make friends? [A pause.] I mean, real people friends, not Pokemon friends.

[Which makes this post a whole lot more pathetic. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!]

Like I don't know a lot of stuff because where I'm from we don't even have lights or water on the inside or schools or those car things. Just horses. And mountains. And lots of trees. So a lot of the stuff people talk about here, I never heard of and...

[...she feels too stupid, too much of a hick to bond over familiar things. Growing up people laughed at her for being so backwoods. That's something one doesn't shake off easily.]

But I want friends even though I don't know stuff. I don't mind learning! I... just don't want people to laugh at me about it.

Yeah. Connie would probably get one of those fighting Pokemon. A Sawk or something and fight with it for fun. [And it'll be as bald as him.] He'd definitely love it here.

[She hasn't given up hope that one day he'll actually show up, but at the same time, she knows it's completely out of her power so all she can do is wait and wish for it.

In the meantime, Sasha still has her problems on hand.]

Noctis was going to teach me how to fish. With a real fishing pole and actual bait and everything. But he's gone too, along with Mabel and Mr. Newt who was going to show me how to read better.

[So forgive her if she's seemingly a little hesitant on the whole "Just learn something new" idea a couple people have tossed her way. The bruises of people leaving are still fresh which has her feeling a tad bit salty.]

I bet Jean would make Connie take a Voltorb while saying it looks like his head.

[Which is not the worst excuse Jean has given for someone needing a Voltorb.]

I know. [Armin hadn't known Mabel for very long, but he's well aware of Noctis and Mr Newt being gone and that hurts.] If you wanted though, I could help you with either one of those things. I'm probably not as good at fishing as Noctis was, but I do know how.

Well, he wouldn't be wrong.

[She'd have to side with Jean here. Poor Connie. At least his head isn't as shiny as a Voltorb.]

You would? [Sasha isn't sure why she's surprised that Armin knows how to fish. After all, he is the kind of water Pokemon.] It's okay. You can't be any worse at it than I am.

Back home, we used to go fishing on occasion, Mikasa, Eren and I. It's really relaxing, honestly.

[A pause]

Well, it's relaxing when you don't bring Eren.
