Who: Sion and Ryner
Where: Collegiate Gym
When: June 30th
Summary: Someone decided that Sion needed a kitten...
Rating: G?
Log:
One thing that had been admittedly convenient about the mysterious scavenger hunt had been the excuse to go to a few places Sion rarely visited. Which of course meant picking up any interesting books he spotted along the way.
Of course, that also meant said books had to be sorted, cataloged, and shelved in the gym's library. And unsurprisingly, Ryner had apparently made little progress while Sion had been out and about.
Which was, in turn, why the two of them (at Sion's insistence) were now in the middle of finally shelving the books in question, after finally having sorted through the pile that had accumulated. Sion himself was nearing the end of his current stack when a small noise made him pause. Setting the books down in a stack on an empty shelf, he opened the small bag at his side that contained the egg Rose had apparently seen fit to buy him. (Without consulting either him or Ryner, of course.) Sure enough, there was the beginnings of a small crack just visible, and even as Sion looked the egg twitched slightly and the crack grew larger.
The book-shelving promptly forgotten, Sion took out the egg to set it out in an open space on the floor to watch. Clearly this was far more important at the moment, after all.

The meowth, however, merely yawned indifferently. Not that Sion seemed remotely put off by that, to judge from the expression on his face.

He picked up the next book and, on glancing at the cover and not recognizing it, casually flipped it open to a random page to see what it was about. Hopefully, he'd have the sense to leave it at a single page, but... well, there was a reason things were this far behind in the first place.
