So hey, anybody around the islands or headed this way...

I was thinking about a couple of days at Treasure Beach next weekend. Scout's been bugging me for weeks about it, he loves hunting for shiny stuff there, and I'm getting the urge to get off Three for a little bit. Maybe catch some more Pokemon... I figure I live on the islands, I oughtta catch one of those special island types.

Anybody want to come? I might hit up the Pokemon Games at the beginning of the week before heading back home, too.

And if you still haven't checked out the islands, you should. What better time than summer for a tropical island getaway?

Well, yeah. Most oceans have islands in them somewhere. The Sevii are closest, that's where I live.

Yeah, there's a whole bunch of them. They're pretty quiet, for the most part, not too many people live here. I mean compared to the mainland.

I'm on the most populated island. There's a lot of families and it's really pretty, it's almost like a nature reserve for most of it.

I've never been to a tropical island. ...but the one back home. A lot of it was just woods. Lots of park area. No one lived there though....well aside from one woman who owned a lot of the land there. But she died a few days before we got there that night.

[And she was trying to keep people from doing exactly what Alex did. She shakes her head. Some life returning to her features.]

Sorry....I just....recently haven't had the ....best experience with islands, well that island in particular.

Well, this island's pretty safe! There's Pokemon, but it's really a family friendly place.

And it's beautiful. If you ever wanted to try to have a better island experience.

Maybe someday in the future. I'm sort of just ....enjoying not being stuck on an island forever at the moment. I know it's not the one from home but....the idea of going to an island just screams, bad plan, in my mind right now.

Yeah. I never even saw a city until I was sixteen.

There are! And different versions of Pokemon you can find on the mainland.

Nope. The Southern Water Tribe lives in the South Pole, we always have. But I guess there's no other worlds where people live there...

In my world it's where scientists go to study, so yeah. Nobody there but them and penguins, I'm pretty sure at least.

People live up in the northern parts of the world, still. Them and the polar bears. No water tribes that I know of. But I'm not exactly an expert on native groups.

Different colours? Because they're from another place....huh, I wonder if it was evolution based on different areas they lived in. Are there many different types?

There's the Southern Water Tribe and the Northern Water Tribe, and you can guess where they live! And we have polar bear dogs.

Yeah, there's a good number! I don't even know all of them.

You should! The islands are pretty great.

Depends on the time of year and recent weather! It's one of those coves with a sort of sink trap effect, where the currents just outside and the geography of the cove pulls debris from the open ocean. After a storm's stirred up the seabed, all kinds of stuff gets into the current and pulled into the cove and washes up on shore. From natural debris to stuff that was dumped or fell off of ships or lost in wrecks!

Also sometimes trash.

Oh, there's all kinds of stuff to do on the islands!

And rare Pokemon types you can't see anywhere else.

I think I know about those. Are those like the different versions of regular pokemon? I got an Alolan Vulpix egg from someone when I first showed up here. Her name is Blizzard.
