[It's weird knowing that she left and came back to this place. Having memories from before but also having new memories from home when she woke up in an unfamiliar bed greeted by 'Mom'. It didn't take long for Mabel to put together what was going on, though, especially once she found herself bonked in the head by a very excited red Minior.

Once outside the house she'd immediately reached for her 'gear and her Pokeballs--

Only to find the latter empty.

Thus, the frown she's wearing as she comes over the network, eyes narrowed which just makes her look even more haggard despite the state she's already in.]

Two questions.

[She holds up a finger as Little Dipper be-bops around in the background.]

One, are my Grunkles and brother still here? And two--

[Another finger goes up and she squints even more as unicorn blood blue-green..something drips down one ear.]

Where are all my Pokemon?

[Dipper is a bit worried....okay a lot worried as his sisters pokemon she left seemed to have vanished on him and was going to make an entry when.....]

[He's really hoping one of his pokemon didn't ...drug him with weird berries he's looking at you drifloon because this is too good to be true and yet. There she is covered...in unicorner.. WHATEVER!]

I- I can't believe you're back!

[The frown she was wearing immediately turns into a bright smile at the sight of Dipper.]

DIPPER! You're still here!!!

[Little Dipper takes that moment to bump into Mabel's head, sending her into a fit of giggles. Both her favorite Dippers are still here!]

I didn't mean to leave--I don't even know why I left. I'm really sorry, Dipper.

[And yes good another viewing of Little Dipper. That makes him feel a lot less worried.]

...oh good. Little Dipper is there. ....he travelled with me when you were gone.

And I know it wasn't your fault. This place just picks and chooses who to bring and send back. It's really unfair like that.

You've been gone for two months and about a week now.

Grunkle Ford is still here too. But ....um Grunkle McGucket got sent home a little after you. So right now it's just the three of us.

Two months??

[She looks momentarily distressed by that before shaking her head.]

I've got a lot to make up for then!

[And then the distress is back.]

Grunkle McGucket's gone? But he...Wait! This means I absolutely have to get Pussywillow back then! Dipper, I have to find all my Pokemon! They have to be somewhere right? He trusted Pussywillow to me! I have to make sure he's okay!!

Well I got Little Dipper. I think Sasha might have one?

[He was a bit distracted.... panicking.]

But we'll find the rest of them. I think I've heard something about a place where peoples pokemon go if they don't end up with other people. If we ask around some of the people who have been here longer, I bet we can figure out where they all are.

Oh and there's been a scavenger hunt this summer. So I'm like only a few days away from New Bark Town. You woke up there again, right?

I'll have to--Sasha! She's still here!!! Is Mari? I have to message both of them!!

[Her best friend and big sister have to know she's back!!

Dipper's reassurance helps her reel herself back in and she manages a grin now, hooking her free arm around Little Dipper who thrums in delight.]

Alright! Yeah! We'll find all of them! I won't stop until I do!

A scavenger hunt?? You're totally dominating right, bro-bro? [Mabel's grin get wider.] Yep! New Bark! Near the Skitty Lady! [Uh oh.]

She is. Mari is too.

[He's managed to keep in touch a bit more with Sasha, somewhat. But he did hole himself up for a month after Mabel vanished. Speaking of what got him out.]

It's really fun actually. You have to find certain people in the towns and ...you have booklet too I bet. Every new person's been getting one. You get a sticker sheet and whenever you find the person you put a sticker in the book.

I've got all but three in Johto but none in Kanto yet. I was going to New Bark because "Mom" is one of the people you need to find.

......oh uh Mabel, maybe you shouldn't be out in the open. I was planning to sneak in to try and avoid the Skitty Lady. You know...given the last time she saw us.

Mabel! You're back!

[Armin hadn't talked a lot to Mabel before she left --getting flirted with is really awkward, ok-- but he knows this is going to make at least two people very very happy.]

Dipper and Mr Pines are both still here. Though they may have gotten into contact with you already. It's been about... two months since you left.

[So thankfully not too much time has passed. Though... does this now make Dipper the older twin?]

Ah, are you all right? It looks like you are covered in... paint?

[This was good! McGucket being gone was definitely a very big downer and Mabel was pretty upset about that but she had to keep her spirits up.]

I hadn't looked through all my stuff yet but if you say it's there I--stickers? [Her eyes light up.] I'll have to get "Mom"'s sticker put in my book then!!

...You think she's still holding a grudge?

[She's going to be good, for now, and not bat her eyelashes and get too flirty.

Dipper did! I haven't heard from Grunkle Ford yet but he's probably training or something! [She's not worried. Not that she has actual memories of Ford from home, she's more comfortable and understanding about things. And just knows more of how he is.] Dipper told me..I didn't mean to leave. All my Pokemon except Little Dipper are missing so I have to go find them all. Dipper said there's someplace where they might all be so I'm going to head there as soon as I can!

[Behind her, her Minior thrums and she grins only to reach up and wipe some of the "paint" off her face.]

Oh, pfft, I'm fine. Just beat up some Unicorns, that's all! I had to show them who's boss!

[There is a lot Armin could say. He could talk about how Ford might be busy with the scavenger hunt too. Or about Mabel finding her old Pokemon again.

But it is all pretty meaningless in light of that last revelation by Mabel.]

You.... beat up some unicorns?

Uhm, just to make sure we mean the same thing, you are talking about a horse-like creature with a horn, right?

[Cause Armin is finding it hard to imagine needing to beat up a Unicorn at any point, really. Of course, his main exposure to Unicorns has been Mr Newt's books and stories. And not Celestabellebethabelle.]

[Mabel puffs up proudly.]

One in the same! She was a real jerk and so were her friends and she tried to convince me that I wasn't pure of heart even after I did a whole bunch of nice things on top of everything I'd already done!! [She frowns and her eyes narrow.] All I needed was some of her hair so we could protect the Mystery Shack but nooo, she had to be a jerk about it.

[She leans in close now.]

So we kicked her magical butt!

[Sasha's hunkered down behind a building in some far-flung town, hunting for people instead of Pokemon when she's checking her 'gear, only to do the worst thing a hunter can do: bolt to her feet and begins shouting at the top of her lungs, giving away her position.]

[Yeah, that's all you're gonna get right about now.]

[She's only got Carbuncle, Noctis's dear Carbuncle. No one else's Pokemon but him and then her own, but it hurts to consider someone being apart from their friends when they wake up again.]

It's okay, I'm sure they're all safe! I just have to find them! Dipper said there's a place we can check where people can get Pokemon back if they left this place so we're going to go there.

[Sasha is bouncing equally as hard. It's almost frightening how high pitched her squealing it.]

It's okay! I'm not mad or anything! I was sad, but I'm happy now that you're back!

[Suddenly, Sasha's eyes go wider than they already are.]

[Sasha tosses a ball and there's the familiar flash of light. Well, look who's a sight for sore eyes--it's Tabby Puss! Clad in a knitted lightweight summer tanktop too. She's been keeping your Pokes fashionable, Mabel.]

I'm happy to be back too! I'm so happy to be back and I'm so happy that you're here and that Dipper's here and Grunkle Ford!!

[Mabel's voice is just as high pitched at this point which just seems to be getting Little Dipper going as the little guy bops and floats around, thrumming and twilling merrily.]

Huh? Who--

[A gasp cuts off Mabel's words as the flash of light disappears, free hand going to her cheek.]
