Don't mind the pokemon, she's just going to stare at the screen as Kim brings the gear up in focus. Said Espurr will continue to stare throughout the post. Have fun with that. Why no she does not seem to be moving closer...]

This place takes a while to get used to. But I have to admit, the multiple radio stations are a nice perk. Back home we have.....two functional ones at the moment? And I think I have all the songs from the main one memorized. ....I really need to try and find Travis some new music holotapes....

I suppose there's three if you count the Minutemen one. Though it's mostly an alert system and despite being their general I've yet to convince them to play any other filler songs besides that same fiddle music on a loop.  There's a few other stations but they're usually pre-war emergency signals that only play in certain areas so I don't think they count.

Anyway. I do have a question though. Does anyone know if there's a station here that has radio dramas? Like plays in radio format? There is one back home that has these old radio programs that I listened to as a kid, and while I know this place won't have the Silver Shroud or anything. I'm open to others. Does this place even have fictional superheros or detectives? I really should check to see if there's a place that sells comics here.

I wish that was surprising. But people are people everywhere I suppose.

Even if small details change. Honestly when I came here I was ...worried it would be more like pre-war America. I was even asking people if the government took away pokemon for weapons once you trained them enough.

Apparently not, but still I can't help but wonder when the other shoe will drop.

[Kim is an optimist in the wasteland but pre-war she would have laughed you out of the room if you'd called her that. Here, it's a mix of confusion and the remains of pre-war paranoia.]

No, this world is far kinder than most. There's a rather sinister organization that may try and steal your leveled or rare Pokemon, but they rarely manage to cause real trouble.

Though sometimes...

And of course this place has it's upsets, some of them quite disruptive, but...we come together and fix whatever needs fixing, one way or another.

Yeah, I've been warned about the weird non-lethal raider type of group out here. I guess killing people for their pokemon won't work here.

[And probably the only reason she believes what sounds like a cross between the Gunners, the Institute and raiders aren't just killing people to get what they want.]

.....Can I ask what some of the upsets have been? It's good to hear that people have been working together to fix things though.

Things that are...difficult to explain, really. Usually side effects of the behavior of very, very rare and powerful Pokemon. They have great influence over this world. Even their moods can effect it, sometimes, it seems.

And once I think the world broke, but we cleaned it all up and that certainly hasn't happened again. No one was hurt, it was simply...like some great tremor went through the universe, and it upset the land. And the Pokemon.

Well that's good to know at least. Even if I don't fully understand how moods can cause things to happen. Then again there's a lot of stuff I don't understand here.

Well, I believe there were some bruises and scrapes during the clean up.

Roads ended up blocked, but it didn't take us very long to put things to right.
