[When the video comes on there's...a lot of noise. A lot. Largely due to the very pleased looking Exploud that's jamming out with a Diggersby while a bunch of other Pokemon dance about--

They're celebrating.

The 'gear is swung around after a moment and Mabel appears, grinning up a storm as puts a finger to her cheek and strikes a pose Mari style.]

Hi everyone!! Guess what guess what!! WE'VE GOT EGGS!

[In a flourish she throws her free hand out now and turns, holding her 'gear up to reveal the eggs behind her that are being tended to by a rather large Tropius.]

Isn't it awesome?! There's a wholllleee bunch of them and I think I got them all sorted right--I had Hambone and Little Dipper help me do it so it's probably right!

[No promises though.]

And I made a list so everyone can pick some eggs!

[She turns the view on herself again, pausing to upload said list before her grin gets brighter--if that's possible.]

It's EGGMADEDDON!!!!! [Now she squints and leans in close.] I totally blame the Minior Shower.

[ Holy fucking shit she's adorable. This child could probably ask Rick to give her her own fucking rainbow galaxy and he'd end up doing it, this is dangerous. But who the fuck can say no to a face like that?

The video switches on to show a grinning grandpa wearing what appears to be an 80's rocker outfit lounging on a beach in Cherrygrove, Litten perched on his leg looking at the gear curiously. ]

H-hey there sweetie, awesome job on the sweet egg cache, real top-tier work there. What would your expert opinion be on which one to pick?

Her expression turns thoughtful and she taps a finger to her chin, eyes narrowed as she looks around at her dancing Pokemon.]

Weeelll I'd say either a giant bug or snow fox! Those are two of my favorites! Here! Let me show you Grendo! [Cue the 'gear going wonky as she darts over into the mass of dancing Pokemon to find her beefy bug princess.] This is Grendo! She's a Heracross and is super awesome!!

[ There are some keywords there that have Rick's grin breaking wider, cause yeah, he can see the family resemblance when the kid points it out. No wonder she's so fucking adorable. ]

Don't get in too high over your head there sweetheart, Sixer's a real ol' stick in the mud. Wouldn't want you ending up too like him and sucking the joy out of everything fun and musical. You're doing pretty damn impressive on your own.

[ Don't pick poor role models kid, have some higher standards there.

Even if he doesn't doubt for one second Ford's the best breeder in the world right now. With his attention to detail and experimentation, if he's *not* then he's slacking off and doing shit wrong. But he's got faith in Sixer's lack of a life and freakish obsession with anything new, so there's no question there.

The bug has him grinning, but the Litten in his lap looks a bit too attentive. And if wandering through the forest was anything to go by, probably shouldn't have a bug that could clothesline a cat prone to pouncing and chasing them. ]

She's so awesome I don't think Squanchy here could handle her offspring, so what kinda snow fox are we talking here? Only fox I remember is tha-that fire thing, Ninetails, that was it.

[Mabel giggle-snorts, waving a hand in an 'Oh you' sort of way.]

I'm just getting started but thank you! Wait-- [She blinks.] --you know Grunkle Ford??? Like, know know? You called him a nickname and that means you know him personally!

[Because that's what nicknames mean. Obviously.

That gets a sage nod out of the little girl as she peers at the Litten, Grendo leaning in to look at the screen.]

That's fair. My cat crew is pretty wary of Grendo most of the time too. [And back to grinning.] It's the Alola version! I've got an Alola Vulpix and she had eggs with one of my other Pokemon! Here wait--SNOWCONE!!

[There goes the camera again as Mabel takes off to find her Vulpix. Said creature is sitting on the edge of the makeshift dance floor looking regal as ever with her bows around her tails, an impish look on the white fox's face as she perks up at the sight of Mabel. Beside her is a shiny Brionne that is clearly the real star of this party. God.]

This is Snowcone!! Isn't she pretty? And that's Mermando! He's the dad of the eggs she had!

Oooooh yeah, me and your 'Grunkle' go way back, like, twice your age back. Met up when he was just some nerd wandering aimlessly through the multi-verse like a total newb, showed him so ropes and some hot shot places and got into some fun when he wasn't being a total kill-joy.

[ The stories he could tell. Too bad most of them aren't appropriate for a kid that young looking, she's smaller than Morty, and he doesn't really feel like pissing Ford off by corrupting his Grand Neice.

Maybe another day.

When Snowcone comes onto the screen, Squanchy the Litten perks up, turning up and meowing like the manipulative little shits do when they want something and they know they're gonna get it. Rick can only roll his eyes as if he has any say in this anymore. But the fondness for his little shit of a cat and this adorable little girl keeps the relaxed grin on his face. ]

Yeah, gorgeous. She's almost as pretty as you, and her boyfriend there looks like the star of the show. I've got to have some offspring of those two talented 'mons, no question about it. So, wh-what's your asking price, sweetie?

So you're from one of the worlds he visited after he went through the portal thingy he made and now you guys get to meet again here?

[Crazy how all this stuff works.

Snowcone peers at Squanchy and let's out a soft coo in greeting to the Litten, tails flicking a bit while Mermando just tosses his head with a grin.

You only wish you looked this good.]

Oh pfft! [Mabel grins, hiding a grin behind her hand.] Mermando is a shiny Pokemon so he totally thinks he's the star of everything! [Rightly so.] Welllll! You're a friend of Grunkle Ford's so that means you get the family and friends discount! [Her grin turns to a bright smile.] So this one's on me!!
