[It's late evening when the video appears on the network and whoever's behind the 'gear is trying to stifle giggles as they focus the camera on a bench underneath a streetlight. A shiny Zubat is settled on the bench munching on berries that are being brought to it by a much larger Golbat who practically has hearts in his eyes as he waddles up to the bench and drops more berries before the lovely lady.

The Zubat inspects the new offerings and that's when the camera person finally speaks.]

Will she accept his tokens of affection? So far she's been so coy! So picky!

[It comes out in a low whisper though anyone familiar enough with her will know that it's Mabel.]

I've been watching this love story unfold for the past two days and it's been magical!

[The Zubat let's out a happy squeak and takes a bite out of one of the berries which prompts the Golbat to do a little jig in excitement. The camera goes a bit crazy for a second as Mabel let's out an excited squeal, fumbling to turn it around and press her face right up into it now.]

Guys guys GUYS DID YOU SEE THAT?! IT WAS SO CUTE!!!! EDGAR AND BELLA ARE SO CUTE I'M GONNA DIE YOU GUYS!

She's super sweet and loves snacks like I do so we get along GREAT!

And Edgar totally want to be her boyfriend it's adorable, Annie!!!

[ Considering pokemon breeding is still a series of question marks in her head, sure. Why not? Courting at least is a real thing that happens. ]

He's at least figured out the way to her stomach, that's apparent. Why did you end up naming her Bella?

That's the name of Edgar Collins's girlfriend in the book series! Bella Charlotte!!!

So you named her after the character's girlfriend even before Edgar was sweet on her?

Yeah! Because in the books they both end up being vampires and vampires and bats have connections so it was totally fitting. It just worked out that they're totally going to fall in love!!

Is that so? What exactly is a vampire?

Undead beings that have to drink blood to survive!!! They're beautiful and tragic and Edgar and Bella have a really touching story that spans a whole bunch of books and some movies based on the books and I love them so much!!!

Wait, so they're partial cannibals?

Kinda? They aren't really human anymore! Their hearts don't beat and their blood doesn't flow. And they can live forever unless you stab them with a stake to the heart!

I don"t mean to burst your bubble or anything? But vampires aren't usually beautiful and tragic. Mostly they're just big jerks.

And sometimes they're Dracula cows with Dracula capes.

Dracula cows. I feel like it's mostly self-explanatory?

[It was weird. Excessively so, even. But it was also a pretty simple concept.]

Where did you run into Dracula cows??? And how is that even possible?!

The how? Dracula was running around the countryside and got hungry. He started running around looking for people to bite and suck the blood out of, as Dracula does. He couldn't find anybody, so he decided to get an extra rare steak. So rare it was literally still mooing.

Anyways, the cow ended becoming a Dracula. She ended up getting loose and causing a bunch of havoc a while back. I had to beat her up and lock her back up on the farm so she wouldn't turn anybody else into Draculas.

[Mabel just stares for a moment.]

But..Dracula is one person. You keep saying Draculas like they're a species or something. That's really weird.

Wait! Is the cow okay though? If you locked her up, is she able to get food? It's not her fault that vampire turned her into a vampire!

She had a Dracula cape with a Dracula collar and was bitten by the actual Dracula. She's clearly a Dracula.

[Also Doreen is really weird.]

Don't worry, she's fine. She's on a farm. An actual farm. I try not to hurt animals unless I really have to. I'm a vegetarian.

....You mean a vampire. Dracula is like..one vampire. The vampire!

Well that's good. At least she has a safe place to live!

[ how cute! he knew the pokemon were fairly intelligent, but this is the first time he's seen any courting that, well, he could identify as courting. the face in the video looks pleased! ]

I didn't realize they brought each other gifts like that! ... Why is the smaller one green?

Yeah, that's her! I made her rice krispie treats and a hat and she sent me a shiny Pokemon! [Mabel's eyes get wide.] A shiny Pokemon!! It's the best gift ever!!!

Will they be blue, or green? Or will they be more teal?

[ how does crossbreeding work we just don't know.

either way, mabel's excitement is infectious, and marco grins again. ]

You must have really impressed her, if she sent you a shiny Pokemon.

Maybe both! Well, maybe not completely green since that's the shiny color...unless I get a shiny baby from them!!! But maybe they'll be super cute and teal colored!

[WHO KNOWS but Mabel is totally hoping for adorable teal bats now.]

I don't know what I did but I'm going to have to find her so I can give her a huge hug sometime!

I hope they turn out teal, I think it'd look good.

[ marco, who Does Not Get how genetics work in pokeland. he gives a little laugh. ]

Aren't they?! I'm going to record their entire love story and then when the time comes I'm going to throw them a wedding too! Just like Sasha and I are doing for Jungle Jim and Bananas!

Just be sure toremember to ask them if they want a wedding.
