He's wearing Camper clothing, except for his hat — he's kept his Kokiri hat, which make no attempt to hide his (albeit much smaller than he's used to) pointed ears — and he's holding a notebook emblazoned with cute Pokémon in his lap.]

The ones the goddesses are singing.

I've never heard them referred to as that before. As for their names, I'm sorry, I don't know them.

[Link nods in acknowledgment of Connor's answer and apology, and there's a pause before he speaks.] How have you heard them referred to?

I think people have just accepted the music as something that's always there, but has no explanation. It's easily ignored, so I don't think people have looked into it too deeply. I could be wrong, though; I haven't been here for very long myself.

[Oh. That makes sense. Still, Link frowns slightly.]

It shouldn't be ignored. Music has power. Just because we don't understand what the goddesses are trying to tell us yet, doesn't mean we shouldn't listen.

Maybe it does have power. It wouldn't be surprising. I just wonder what kind of powers it has.

[After all, this entire place is full of unknowns.]

It's hard to tell. Where I am from, the names of songs tell you about what kinds of powers they have. The Song of Healing helps lingering spirits find peace. The Sun Song makes the sun set and rise. The Song of Storms makes it rain. Things like that.

That is the music I mean, the songs that play all the time.

It is OK. I am sure someone knows. Maybe they were written down some place hidden.

They might be. There's enough ruins and hints of older civilizations than the one currently in place as you travel around. I'm not sure how much good that does you, other than knowing, unless you can be the one to find a way to make it stop.

The goddesses must be trying to tell us something, but no one has figured it out yet, so that's why the music doesn't stop. Maybe we are supposed to learn them and use their power to do what the goddesses chose us for. So their names might tell us about them and what we need to do.

The Golden Goddesses. [Said with the tone of a child answering what he thinks is an obvious question, and is confused why an adult is asking it.] They brought us here, didn't they?

No one's mentioned them to me, I'll be honest.

[He sounds completely puzzled.] Do the Golden Goddesses do that kind of thing?

[To be entirely honest... Link doesn't know of any stories where the Goddesses transported people to another world. But then, who would be around after to tell stories like that?

But.] They could, if they chose us to do something important.

People have brought up legendary wish granting pokemon but... no goddesses yet. So unless there's some sort of deity exchange program, which I'm not ruling out [God probably is that kind of dick] I wouldn't totally blame them for this.

The music is just music. It'll get old sooner or later.

So what this tells me is you could name them yourself! Be the first one to do it and see if it catches on.

Pretty sure the music's just... here. No real connection to greater powers, though there are beings that are... semi-godlike, I guess.

I don't know why only people brought here from other lands would be able to hear it if it wasn't for some reason. A Goddess, or someone else like one, would have the power to do something like that. And if they did, then it would mean something. That is what I think.

Do you mean the... "Pokégods"?

See, I always figured the locals are just used to the music, so they never talk about it.

[But dang, that's some trippy subject to consider. Heck, it's enough to make him pause for a few seconds. Huh...

But he shrugs it off before long.]

But nah. I mean, there is a god- Arceus. Kinda looks like a metal llama. Otherwise the others are more like demigods, I guess.

Arceus... So is that the god that created this land?

Yeah, pretty much. It's... not exactly the most godly looking thing out there, but it's definitely powerful. And really likes sandwiches for some reason.

[He chuckles at that last part. Feeding sandwiches to a god-like entity is something rather tough to forget.]
