5. Video

[Apparently one of her pokemon is filming this because the camera is a bit further away then usual. You can see Newt sitting by a bed, and also off to the side there is an Eevee sitting on the floor. He is also holding onto a dolls head. It's for moral support.

Newt meanwhile looks at the camera.]

I have a question. If you're af...if you don't really like a certain type of pokemon that much. But you still want to get all the gym badges. Do you think it would be easier to get the gym themed for them over with first? Or should you wait and maybe you won't be so afraid of them in the future?

Oh and does anyone knows what this is?

[She holds up a Spell Tag]

Vasquez brought it back after Halloween but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Yes, I do. People have all different fears and dislikes. I'm sure some find the ghost gyms frightening, or the fighting gym overwhelming. Bugs back where most of us are from probably are everywhere, even when you don't want them. There's several reasons not to like them.

[ Lovely video of Lute still happening, though he looks back toward the camera now, curious. ]

You could ask people for their reasons. They might share them if you do.

Yes, it's normal to be afraid of some things, even if no one else is afraid of those same things. We're all different people. It makes sense that we have different things to fear.

[ Annie can't say most of hers are here outside of what... what she wants to protect, against all odds. Marco, Armin, Bertolt. Her pokemon. Her memories. ]

Letting our fears keep us cautious is fine, that's smart. It's letting our fears stop us from acting that makes them dangerous, not silly.

What would the consequence for that be right now?

[ Lute looks not to the camera, but to Annie behind it, making a curious sounding noise. He knows what she's on about, but he isn't sure how she'll go about making her points. ]

If you end up not fighting as well as you like, and you don't beat the gym, does that mean you'll stop trying?

That's something I'm still getting used to myself. So go ahead, ask for someone to go with you, and try. If it kicks your ass, dust yourself off, look for what could have been handled otherwise, and try again.

Yes, it is.

[ Lute makes an encouraging sound, once again looking at the camera. ]

You're welcome, and good luck, whatever you decide to do.
