Hey, everyone, it's Ray Stantz here! You know, the guy who was freezing on Route 29 on Christmas Eve?

Don't worry, I'm more than safe now. :-)

Anyway, I do research on the supernatural (I specialize in ghosts and the hunting and containment of them, for those curious!) and I've been reading up on myths and legends in this dimension. It's pretty interesting stuff, but I would like to hear some first hand accounts of the strange and unusual sightings in this dimension! Whether it's encounters with Legendary Pokémon, normal Pokémon, or just strange occurrences you've noted in this dimension, I want to hear about it! I think it would help get me a better understanding of this dimension. And even if it doesn't, it would be fun to hear about!

Or heck, if you have any fun stories of strange encounters back in your home dimension I would love to hear that too; I'm not picky!

So this Suicune is a mischievous spirit then? [He really doesn't need to use the word "spirit"...] Was there a known reason why Suicune stole your kettle or was it unprompted?

I'm not entirely sure. This happened when several legendaries were unusually active. I think it must have either wanted to have a bit of mischief or it was genuinely interested in the kettle and what it did. I have a video of it, if you'd like to see.

Please!!! Any info would be great in my research!

[Armin has to go on a little search. After all, this happened two summers back, so he's gotta dig deep into the network. Eventually though, a message pings Ray's gear with a link to this video.]

I really hope I get to see Suicune around in the future!

Isn't it great? I made sketches of its footprints too. Oh! And it gave back my kettle a few months later. I still have it.

Oh that's nice of them! So the Legendaries here are generally friendly if a little mischievous, that's cute!

At least in Suicune's case. Man, you're really making me want to meet them now!

I've been fortunate enough to meet several and they are really fascinating. Sadly some of my friends are less than charmed by them. I can understand why they feel like they do, but I can't exactly agree with them either.

[Armin is going to attach two photos. One is of a dented, familiar looking kettle - the one Suicune stole, but also returned. The second picture is of a long, gloriously white feather - A feather belonging to none other than Lugia itself.]

I can't imagine why they wouldn't love meeting these guys, they seem great!

... Okay, I can imagine why meeting some deities would be less than pleasant, but still, they seem pretty benevolent here! After what I've seen in my day, a deity just stealing a kettle is far from the worst thing they could possibly do.

Oh! Is that feather from another one of them?

Well, they did cause a lot of trouble two summers back. Some people even got hurt. That's why they don't like them much. But personally, I feel we know too little about the situation to judge their behaviour as malicious. And they've done nice things for us too. It is! It's a feather belonging to Lugia. I've had it for two years now and it has never lost its shine.

Okay, I guess that could make people a little suspicious of them, but you're right! There could be a multitude of reasons why they acted the way they did, and it feels rude to judge without the whole story, especially if there's no repeated occurrences.

There really haven't been. Ever since then, they've all been very quiet. And all the information we found about the situation was in very old texts, so personally, I am confident in saying that whatever happened was a rather unique occurrence and not necessarily a pattern of behaviour. And Nephelis organised a Scavenger Hunt for us this summer. Which was nice. They say Lugia guards the oceans. Seeing it was just incredible. More interestingly, the three legendary birds were there too, attending to Lugia and bringing it food and gifts. Like Lugia outranked them in some way. It really feels like the legendary pokemon have a lot of connections between them that we can only guess at. It's rare enough to see one legendary, let alone two in one location. It makes it very hard to get information on how they interact. There are myths, of course, but honestly, reading through them all, a lot of them contradict each other so it is hard to know which bits are true and which are not.
