Hey, everyone, it's Ray Stantz here! You know, the guy who was freezing on Route 29 on Christmas Eve?

Don't worry, I'm more than safe now. :-)

Anyway, I do research on the supernatural (I specialize in ghosts and the hunting and containment of them, for those curious!) and I've been reading up on myths and legends in this dimension. It's pretty interesting stuff, but I would like to hear some first hand accounts of the strange and unusual sightings in this dimension! Whether it's encounters with Legendary Pokémon, normal Pokémon, or just strange occurrences you've noted in this dimension, I want to hear about it! I think it would help get me a better understanding of this dimension. And even if it doesn't, it would be fun to hear about!

Or heck, if you have any fun stories of strange encounters back in your home dimension I would love to hear that too; I'm not picky!

[There's a long, uncomfortable pause as Egon's eyebrows knit together in an unreadable expression.]

Can we...talk about this later?

No, no, nothing bad.

[....]

Though, Venkman burned his hand on a toaster that had slime in it.

He did, yes. While vaguely insulting the toaster, which resulted in the toaster striking back.

[Crisis narrowly averted. He will tell Ray if he brings it up again. Later. When there are no children around.]

It was also one of the ways in which we found out that the slime responded to positive external stimuli, like energetic, high-tempo music, and how we thought of charging the Statue of Liberty with slime.

[Oh, Ray. Egon frowns, mulling the question over in his mind.]

Yes, though hardly a few weeks had passed before I was dragged into this dimension. At the time we were investigating the slime, a 16th century magician by the name Vigo attempted to steal Dana Barrett's adopted child to possess him and continue to live in the 20th century.

...I'm not sure whether it would have even worked without our interference, anyways.

[He thinks a little more, and then--]

You did get possessed by him for a brief moment.

Yes.

[He says this without a hint of sarcasm. Then again, it's not known if Egon can be sarcastic.]

I believe he was trying to escape to any possible vessel at the time to salvage his plans, but he was instantly expunged when we shot positively-charged mood slime at you.

[A pause.] I think it was only a few seconds between the two events. Either way, you--my universe's version of Ray Stanz spent the next half hour or so being incredibly positive and engaging in-- [Another pause. He told Venkman he'd stop saying it.] --in positive physical contact with the other Ghostbusters.

[Egon blinks. A genuinely puzzled expression (?) appears on his face.]

Do you mind elaborating on what you're asking?

[He's legitimately unsure of what Ray means by that.]

[Egon grows completely perplexed and concerned until Ray finally spits something out. He tilts his head to the side. Was that it?]

Yes. You were kissing and hugging everyone within reach, as well as fondly and loudly expressing your love for everyone involved. [A pause.] If I remember correctly, we had a difficult time getting you to the Ecto-1 without incident.

[That's all there was!]

It wasn't your fault. You were under the influence of mood slime, after all. And it was also technically my dimensional version of Ray Stanz, not you.

[After a brief moment of contemplation, he plants a kiss on Ray's forehead.]

I have to admit, though, it was quite nice.

Well, I do find it difficult sometimes to express my overwhelming affection towards all of you, especially in public places.

["Sometimes". Spengler usually plans on kissing his partners but then usually forgets or gets side tracked by other science stuff. His face heats up a little when Ray kisses him.]

But that is true, in addition to being able to study the traits of his dimension and its inhabitants.

[A beat.] How long do you think it will take Venkman to begin complaining after meeting us again? [And after kissing the living daylights out of both of them.]

Not that death would stop us from further studying the spirits of any dimension.

[The corner of Egon's mouth twitches upwards.]

Both, but mostly the former. Would you believe me if I said that I almost miss him complaining?
