Hey, everyone, it's Ray Stantz here! You know, the guy who was freezing on Route 29 on Christmas Eve?
Don't worry, I'm more than safe now. :-)
Anyway, I do research on the supernatural (I specialize in ghosts and the hunting and containment of them, for those curious!) and I've been reading up on myths and legends in this dimension. It's pretty interesting stuff, but I would like to hear some first hand accounts of the strange and unusual sightings in this dimension! Whether it's encounters with Legendary Pokémon, normal Pokémon, or just strange occurrences you've noted in this dimension, I want to hear about it! I think it would help get me a better understanding of this dimension. And even if it doesn't, it would be fun to hear about!
Or heck, if you have any fun stories of strange encounters back in your home dimension I would love to hear that too; I'm not picky!

Well? Tell me the details! You're practically a living encyclopedia, after all! You probably remember most of the data!
no subject
Can we...talk about this later?
no subject
Sure thing, but why? Did something really bad happen with the experiments?
no subject
[....]
Though, Venkman burned his hand on a toaster that had slime in it.
no subject
That sounds like Pete. What, did he stick his hand in the toaster or something?
[Good job, Egon, you distracted Ray!]
no subject
[Crisis narrowly averted. He will tell Ray if he brings it up again. Later. When there are no children around.]
It was also one of the ways in which we found out that the slime responded to positive external stimuli, like energetic, high-tempo music, and how we thought of charging the Statue of Liberty with slime.
no subject
[Ray chuckles slightly, thinking about Venkman getting attacked by a toaster.]
But that's adorable! I hope my team gets to experience that slime too.
What else did you experience back in your world, by the way? I know that your dimension's team went under shortly after the Gozer incident, but you're working as a team again right?
no subject
Yes, though hardly a few weeks had passed before I was dragged into this dimension. At the time we were investigating the slime, a 16th century magician by the name Vigo attempted to steal Dana Barrett's adopted child to possess him and continue to live in the 20th century.
...I'm not sure whether it would have even worked without our interference, anyways.
[He thinks a little more, and then--]
You did get possessed by him for a brief moment.
no subject
[What would he do... after he possessed the baby...?]
W-wait what? Why did Vigo possess me? How were you able to get him out?
no subject
[He says this without a hint of sarcasm. Then again, it's not known if Egon can be sarcastic.]
I believe he was trying to escape to any possible vessel at the time to salvage his plans, but he was instantly expunged when we shot positively-charged mood slime at you.
[A pause.] I think it was only a few seconds between the two events. Either way, you--my universe's version of Ray Stanz spent the next half hour or so being incredibly positive and engaging in-- [Another pause. He told Venkman he'd stop saying it.] --in positive physical contact with the other Ghostbusters.
no subject
[Ray idly wonders if he'll ever run into this Vigo in his home dimension. Maybe he'll ask him if he had any further plans beyond "possess a baby, then rule the world"]
Gee, he must have not been great at what he was doing if it took you two seconds to free me from possession- oh.
[Ray felt himself go red in the face at the mention of "positive physical contact, and is pretty sure Egon could tell he's blushing right now.]
So by "physical contact" do you mean...
[Ray trails off, not even sure how to finish that.
This is Egon, "positive physical contact" could mean so many different things and he's not sure which one to land on for the question.]
no subject
Do you mind elaborating on what you're asking?
[He's legitimately unsure of what Ray means by that.]
no subject
Yeah just give him a few moments.]
You know. Was I holding your hands? Hugging you? ... More than that?
[PLEASE DON'T ASK HIM TO ELABORATE FURTHER.]
no subject
Yes. You were kissing and hugging everyone within reach, as well as fondly and loudly expressing your love for everyone involved. [A pause.] If I remember correctly, we had a difficult time getting you to the Ecto-1 without incident.
[That's all there was!]
no subject
Ha, I can barely contain myself normally with hugging and kissing you guys, I guess the mood slime only worsened that urge.
... Uh, sorry if I almost caused a scene in public, Spengs.
no subject
[After a brief moment of contemplation, he plants a kiss on Ray's forehead.]
I have to admit, though, it was quite nice.
no subject
Ray begins to blush again but this time he's smiling.]
Aww gee, Spengs, you should have told me that earlier! I would have kissed you more often if I had known.
[As if he doesn't already give him a ton of kisses.]
You know, I love Ghostbusting more than anything, but the one nice thing about not being a Ghostbuster in this dimension is that we don't have to worry about the paparazzi at all.
[He kisses Egon on the cheek before leaning up against him.]
no subject
["Sometimes". Spengler usually plans on kissing his partners but then usually forgets or gets side tracked by other science stuff. His face heats up a little when Ray kisses him.]
But that is true, in addition to being able to study the traits of his dimension and its inhabitants.
[A beat.] How long do you think it will take Venkman to begin complaining after meeting us again? [And after kissing the living daylights out of both of them.]
no subject
[Ray smirks.]
Complain about us having all this fun without him or about the dimension in general? Because he's already complained to me about the latter.
no subject
[The corner of Egon's mouth twitches upwards.]
Both, but mostly the former. Would you believe me if I said that I almost miss him complaining?
no subject
[Ray frowns slightly, resisting the urge to talk about all the things he misses from home.]
You know, I kind of do too. It almost feels quiet here without him.
