He can sort it all into his pack later, for now he's excited for the mutual ego-stroking that was bound to come out of this whole gym thing.

He doesn't take too long to reach the Center, and immediately searches for Papyrus, assuming that he hadn't beaten the former skeleton there!]

Mettaton picks a table out, only releasing Papyrus' hand so that he can sit and set his shopping bag down.]

Whew! Well, here it is!! Order what you like, and pick something good for me~ I want my first cup of coffee to be good!!

O-OKAY! [Red as ever, he orders two mochas, heavy on the milk! Gotta get that calcium! He returns shortly. The barista has poured cute designs in the cream. Mettaton gets a heart.]

[In the time it takes to get the drinks, Mettaton puts his purchases away into his pack. As he tucks away the final item, Papyrus reappears with coffee. Yes!!

Mettaton reaches for the cup. Ooh, humans sure can get creative with their drinks! Mettaton is much more interested in getting a whiff than just observing the design. After all, he's still getting used to experiencing things with his new senses.]

[Hardly one to be down on himself, he instead brings the cup closer, blowing away the steam and cooling off the coffee at least a little before trying again.

Once he's had time to process the taste, he lets out a sound that's maybe just a little too happy. Clearly the coffee was to his tastes!]

Sweetheart, it's fine!! Just because I couldn't feel things the same way you could doesn't mean it didn't every bear significance! A hug is always nice! And robot or not, I would like to think I gave excellent ones!!

[Of course, part of the allure was having extendable arms, but it was still a good tradeoff. He couldn't hug like he used to but he could feel the warmth!]
