[The great (???) thing about the ghost currently haunting Dave is that, for the most part, it stays out of sight, meaning that with everyone else distracted by their own phantasms, Dave managed to spend the whole day yesterday blatantly not acknowledging it, only twitching at its constant presence at the edge of his awareness. But after no sleep the entire night--negative sleep, probably, it's possible he will never sleep again, fuck every molecule of his being--he's just grabbed some foodstuffs, marched into the inn room closet, and settled in with his eyes shut, hugging the cereal boxes to his chest.

At least he can pretend Bro's not there, in the dark.]

Well I do not see how this would happen on accident, do you? A bunch of ghostly figures that just so happen to resemble people we all know appearing next to us seems pretty impossible!

And I do not know why somebody would want to do this, but there are some messed up people out there, Penny. People who do not know how to keep pranks appropriate.

This is a really awful prank if that's what it is, though. Way worse than fake booger-eating, by a whole lot.

If they're capable of making a bunch of fake ghosts, they're probably capable of hiding themselves pretty well too, right? They'd have to be really powerful, and I don't have powers anymore.

That's a good point! I mean, whoever did this is probably kind of magical, and Pokemon are kind of magical, so it makes perfect sense to me...

I have a ghost Pokemon, but it's really new, and I do not have any psychic types. What about you?

I've got my Doublade and Aegislash-

[Multiples of each, at this point.]

-and Iris, my Metagross, but they're more Steel-type than Ghost and Psychic, I think. They're probably a little too big to search very well, anyway? So I guess that would leave- Saffron and Cole? My Kadabra and Banette.
