C'mon, big guy-- Up!
[The video isn't pointing at anything right away, but there's a pair of small, green hands adorned with little red claws clicking and clacking at the lens for a few moments. After a good thirty seconds or so, it finally starts to turn over, displaying a shot of Demyx... hauling something? Whatever it is, it's only visible for a split second and it's bright orange before a Lombre's face takes up the whole screen.
Suddenly it grins - it figured it out! It got the thing to work! The light is even blinking! Yes!
Trilling in triumph, it appears to bounce in place with a wide grin, and it makes some strange noises as if it's trying to speak. Unfortunately because it's a Pokemon, it only succeeds in saying it's own name and various croaks, clicks and gurgles. It doesn't matter though, because as soon as it appears to be done speaking?
It turns it around to show Demyx with a Magikarp in his arms facing down with a Spearow just outside of Azalea where it meets Route 33.]
Okay! Just like we've been doing, Mrs. Robinson! One, two--
[The Magikarp appears to puff itself up and gets a serious look on its face.]
Three!
[Suddenly Demyx throws the Pokemon as hard as he can in the direction of the Spearow - TACKLE IT, MRS. ROBINSON! - eliciting the Magikarp equivalent of a battle cry. As it sails through the air towards the intended target, it suddenly begins to glow bright and starts getting bigger and bigger. And longer. And the once-strange war cry of the Magikarp turns into a loud bellow as the light disappears and a massive blue serpent appears and...
lands the Tackle on the Spearow who clearly wasn't expecting it. One hit K.O.!
For a moment all parties are silent, and then the Lombre drops the camera in shock as Demyx lets out a loud whoop off-screen.]
That was AWESOME! Oh my god! Look at you! You're so freakin' huge! I can't beli--
[The feed suddenly cuts out, most likely from the Lombre scrambling to pick the Pokegear back up off the ground.
Uh... Welcome to Magikarp Training 101?]

Yeah! And look at him! I didn't know throwing him like that would make him do this!
[action bc travel buddies]
Oh MAN, I didn't think that would seriously work!
aww ye
I didn't think he'd do that!
[CAN HE CLIMB THIS? He's just going to
scramble right up on that Gyarados' back and give him a good ol' pat.]
We've been doing this for ages haven't we, Mrs. Robinson?
no subject
OTHERWISE SHE'D BE ENCOURAGING THE SHIT OUT OF DUMB FISH-CHUCKING THE WHOLE TIME]
Geez, have you been doing that the entire time since you caught her??? How is your arm not dead?
no subject
[He looks at himself for a minute, and then... flexes.]
I think I got a little bit of muscle doing all of that though! My arms were killing me the first week of doing it!
[And then after a few moments he scoots further up across the Gyarados so he can lean forward and cover his 'ears'.]
I can't lift him anymore though, but don't tell him that.
no subject
[Good thing he's up on the safety of the Gyarados's back, or else Lena would've punched him just to test that.]
Nah, dude, you probably should. What if this big guy still thinks he's a little old fish, and tries to jump into your arms one day?
no subject
[What he's not saying is how he may or may not have broken his arms in the process.
Just by trying to grab him.]
Do you think he'd really do that though? he'd crush me!
no subject
... And promptly bursts out laughing.]
You?? Take on a guy like that? Good one! Ohhhh man you almost had me there dude, but you had to brag like that...
no subject
[He can't exactly do that, can he?]
I-I swear, I fought him! Right in the Olympus Coliseum!
[THAT SURE WAS A DAY, LET HIM TELL YOU.]
no subject
C'mon, show me some of your fancy fighting!
no subject
[C r a p--
Wait! Wait! The little lightbulb just went off in his head!]
I-I would, but this place kiiiiiinda took all of that away? I-It made me into a regular human! Besides, it's... not really the best place to do any of that stuff!
no subject
[TOO convenient...]
But there's nothing special about just pure strength, right? So there's no reason for whoever-it-was that brought us here to change that. So either you're totally full of it, or you're hiding something.

[Demyx, no.]

[She points to a rock near where Demyx and his new Gyarados are; it's not quite boulder sized, but it's definitely something that nobody's gunna be lifting easily anytime soon.]
Betcha you can't lift that with one hand.
no subject
[Mrs. Robinson, help him out! Please! Don't just sit there like a blue lump!]
I gotta have, like... loads of prep time?

[NOW YOU KNOW JUST HOW MUCH OF A LITTLE GREMLIN LENA CAN BE SOMETIMES. Sorry Demyx.]
video;
Yeah! That's how it's done!

And judging by the deep, broken rumbling? Mrs. Robinson is trying his best too.]
I take everything I said back about this place before - this is the best thing that's ever happened!

You just have to keep them in their balls when you're coming in the door.
[Video]
Noct is grinning as a normal Gyarados and a shiny variant roar their approval behind him, several Magikarp splashing about in the water around them--only visible when they leap out of the water.
He's got just a few.]
That's one way to do it.
[Video]
Or he did, because there's no way Demyx is going to be able to lift him now.]
How else could I? All he could do is flop around before!
[He sees that red one, too.
He needs twenty.]
Video;
Video;
Why not? He loves it! Or, uh, he did - isn't that right, Mrs. Robinson?
[Does the big tail flopping up and down in the background mean yes? It has to!]
'sides, it's how we had to do it before he figured out how to tackle! All he could do before is flop around!
Video;
It's still dangerous! You could've injured him.
[Versus... sending him into battle? Which doesn't have the risk of injury? Ok, possibly not the best argument, but there is something that just doesn't feel right about using a pokemon like, well, a brick.]
Video;
[He gives the former Magikarp a good, slow pat when it surges its head forward behind him, the big white fins on his cheeks just barely in frame. Who's a good murder snake? You are!]
Plus now that he's huge, I can't imagine anything trying to put a dent on him!

Video;
Iiiiii've had some really nasty experiences with electricity, dude. One time I got shocked so bad my mouth tasted like I licked a battery for a week.
Video;
Video;
[Especially if he's really human again, but he's been trying not to think too much about that yet. One step at a time for this 'Nobody', thank you!]
I've always been more of a water guy. It kinda sucks not being able to control it anymore like I used to, but at least these guys make up for it.
Video;
You used to be able to control water?
Video;
[He glances back to the Gyarados and after a few moments he leans back against his side, letting the big Pokemon support and keep him upright.]
I dunno if it's something blocking my magic or what, but I can't do it here. These guys are the next best thing to that so it's enough to keep me going on that front.
Video;
Video;
Man, that's still something he's trying to adjust to after all this time. Hearing it doesn't make it any easier either, because how does he go back to that old life?]
Do they ever come back? Or is there a way to get 'em back? Even for a little while?
Video;
A friend of mine even met... well, he met himself. But not, exactly himself. It was a him who had lived a slightly different life.
Video;
[He waves his hand a little.]
I have this sitar that's... pretty important to me. I'd get that back during one of those weird days, right? But could I keep it afterwards?
[Running into a copy of himself might be a little weird too but that could be pretty fun provided it wasn't from some crazy timeline where he was bonkers.]
Video;
[And god only know if this... sitar is a small thing or not.]
Video;
[He hums to himself and sticks his hand up to around his shoulder. That... seems about right, he thinks!]
It's an instrument around yea big, but it's not exactly traditional.
Video;
I don't think I've ever heard about someone receiving something that large. The largest I ever got was a book.
Video;
[Mrs. Robinson, can you believe this? This is so unfair! He knows the Gyarados can't read minds, but it's not stopping him from dropping his head back to lightly thunk against his scaly hide anyway.
At least he earns a concerned... growling-rumble for his efforts.]
We can get big huge things like this guy, but not that? That's lame.
Video;
But, uhm. I don't really know anything about instruments, but they do have a lot of different ones here. Wouldn't it be possible to save for a new one?
