second chord ♪ video
C'mon, big guy-- Up!
[The video isn't pointing at anything right away, but there's a pair of small, green hands adorned with little red claws clicking and clacking at the lens for a few moments. After a good thirty seconds or so, it finally starts to turn over, displaying a shot of Demyx... hauling something? Whatever it is, it's only visible for a split second and it's bright orange before a Lombre's face takes up the whole screen.
Suddenly it grins - it figured it out! It got the thing to work! The light is even blinking! Yes!
Trilling in triumph, it appears to bounce in place with a wide grin, and it makes some strange noises as if it's trying to speak. Unfortunately because it's a Pokemon, it only succeeds in saying it's own name and various croaks, clicks and gurgles. It doesn't matter though, because as soon as it appears to be done speaking?
It turns it around to show Demyx with a Magikarp in his arms facing down with a Spearow just outside of Azalea where it meets Route 33.]
Okay! Just like we've been doing, Mrs. Robinson! One, two--
[The Magikarp appears to puff itself up and gets a serious look on its face.]
Three!
[Suddenly Demyx throws the Pokemon as hard as he can in the direction of the Spearow - TACKLE IT, MRS. ROBINSON! - eliciting the Magikarp equivalent of a battle cry. As it sails through the air towards the intended target, it suddenly begins to glow bright and starts getting bigger and bigger. And longer. And the once-strange war cry of the Magikarp turns into a loud bellow as the light disappears and a massive blue serpent appears and...
lands the Tackle on the Spearow who clearly wasn't expecting it. One hit K.O.!
For a moment all parties are silent, and then the Lombre drops the camera in shock as Demyx lets out a loud whoop off-screen.]
That was AWESOME! Oh my god! Look at you! You're so freakin' huge! I can't beli--
[The feed suddenly cuts out, most likely from the Lombre scrambling to pick the Pokegear back up off the ground.
Uh... Welcome to Magikarp Training 101?]

[Especially if he's really human again, but he's been trying not to think too much about that yet. One step at a time for this 'Nobody', thank you!]
I've always been more of a water guy. It kinda sucks not being able to control it anymore like I used to, but at least these guys make up for it.
Video;
You used to be able to control water?
Video;
[He glances back to the Gyarados and after a few moments he leans back against his side, letting the big Pokemon support and keep him upright.]
I dunno if it's something blocking my magic or what, but I can't do it here. These guys are the next best thing to that so it's enough to keep me going on that front.
Video;
Video;
Man, that's still something he's trying to adjust to after all this time. Hearing it doesn't make it any easier either, because how does he go back to that old life?]
Do they ever come back? Or is there a way to get 'em back? Even for a little while?
Video;
A friend of mine even met... well, he met himself. But not, exactly himself. It was a him who had lived a slightly different life.
Video;
[He waves his hand a little.]
I have this sitar that's... pretty important to me. I'd get that back during one of those weird days, right? But could I keep it afterwards?
[Running into a copy of himself might be a little weird too but that could be pretty fun provided it wasn't from some crazy timeline where he was bonkers.]
Video;
[And god only know if this... sitar is a small thing or not.]
Video;
[He hums to himself and sticks his hand up to around his shoulder. That... seems about right, he thinks!]
It's an instrument around yea big, but it's not exactly traditional.
Video;
I don't think I've ever heard about someone receiving something that large. The largest I ever got was a book.
Video;
[Mrs. Robinson, can you believe this? This is so unfair! He knows the Gyarados can't read minds, but it's not stopping him from dropping his head back to lightly thunk against his scaly hide anyway.
At least he earns a concerned... growling-rumble for his efforts.]
We can get big huge things like this guy, but not that? That's lame.
Video;
But, uhm. I don't really know anything about instruments, but they do have a lot of different ones here. Wouldn't it be possible to save for a new one?
