[Hey, it's Newt again. She's sitting next to some books by an inn bed and if you look off to the side you can see one of those newer pokemon, the blue one, sitting next to an Eevee. The Eevee seems to have a plastic dolls head with them. There is also a Luxray sitting next to them as though keeping them safe from something.]

Hi. I have a question for people who went to school.

What are the really important things you learnt there? I only got to grade two before- ...I came here and there's no schools but I still want to learn stuff. I know reading and math are important. And there's spelling and science things but I don't really know what the other stuff is.

What's important to learn?

Oh, that's always hard. Here, I just try to avoid people who are mean. Back home it was a lot harder.

Mm... well. That would involve having enemies at all. Somehow, I have managed to avoid such struggles.

Some of them have been learning with me. They're really smart.

That's good. Having people who want to kill you is really bad. And scary.

Well...not many people have tried. Just one person.

The monsters wanted to kill me though. I hid from them for weeks.

Why on earth would anyone wish to harm a child?

The monsters killed everyone. I don't think they cared if it was a kid or not. The guy was just evil and worked for the company and he didn't care if I was a kid.

The company the started my colony. ...we usually just call them the company. But they're really named Weyland-Yutani.

A colony, you say? May I ask what sort it was?

[That's easy enough. She learnt about it at school after all and grew up there. She thinks for a moment so she can get it all right though.]

It was a terraforming colony on the moon of Acheron. That's when people go to a planet or a moon where people couldn't normally live because of the way the planet is, and they use science to change it so people can live there.

You found yourself living in space, then?

Well I was born there. So I'd never been anywhere else before I woke up here.

Nope. I was just going there when I got taken here.

Then I suppose it's a rather lucky stroke you ended up somewhere so similar, no?

You're correct, it does not. However, that aside, it is similar enough to be almost a direct copy.

But it doesn't even have spaceships. And there's not many cities.

[Newt is from very far in the future compared to a lot of people and knows ...a bit about her earth.]

It is very similar to the earth I knew. Minus the pokemon, of course.
