[Hey, it's Newt again. She's sitting next to some books by an inn bed and if you look off to the side you can see one of those newer pokemon, the blue one, sitting next to an Eevee. The Eevee seems to have a plastic dolls head with them. There is also a Luxray sitting next to them as though keeping them safe from something.]

Hi. I have a question for people who went to school.

What are the really important things you learnt there? I only got to grade two before- ...I came here and there's no schools but I still want to learn stuff. I know reading and math are important. And there's spelling and science things but I don't really know what the other stuff is.

What's important to learn?

Drawing is fun. I have notebooks I draw in. It's easier to use coloured pencils to draw though.

[Lots of pictures. Some of them aren't even horrific.]

That makes sense. You'd have to be really good at drawing people.

And food is really important. If you don't have enough food you can get...um I think she said malnourished.

Yeah, way easier with colored pencils. I hope you've already got a lot of colors.

I'm gonna tell you something. Some sketch artists are only okay at drawing people. I bet you could get way better than them. Especially if you use things like colored pencils.

Yeah uh... malnutrition. [Jesus, this poor fucking kid. He'd give her a hug if he could.] And you need to remember a little water every day because that makes you healthier. And sometimes PE teaches you sports, which was my favorite part, but not everyone's.

Water is always good. Oh, sports. We didn't have much room for those back home, so I don't know very many.

I think they count Pokemon training here. That would be my guess.

But if you wanted to, I could show you how to play baseball sometime. It's a pretty important game here. Not to mention they have a version of it that's just for fun where you can play with members of your pokemon team.

Yeah. I was looking into it in the off-season. Now the new season has started and I can figure out which team to root for or which players I like.
