[video][009]
[Connor is certainly more cheerful in this video than he was in the last one. His usual polite smile is back, and as ever his Magnezone is hovering in the background.]
I was just thinking about the Type: Null Pokemon again. I haven't met anyone who has one. So I was wondering - if you do have one, what type did you get and why? Or if you don't, which type would you want? I'd like an Electric type one, myself.
Does it evolve at all? Is it friendly? Is it good in battle? ...I realise I'm asking a lot of questions, but I'm very curious.
[And also he's pretty excited to get his sixth badge and apply for one. Being a man-made prototype himself, he's very interested to see what each individual Type: Null is like.]

[That fucking Tentacrool is going to become the bane of his life between the hugs and the drying out.]

[He'll ask someone who has one.]
What type would you get, if you ever decided to get one?
[Not that Hank has any badges, but he's curious.]
no subject
The only reason I was gonna get badges any was uh...
[He makes a near indistinguishable noise, which draws the attention of some kid near him briefly.]
Was because of you.
no subject
[Connor tilts his head very slightly, curious.]
Why?
no subject
[He'd also wanted to surprise him with it. Like a gift. But that seems stupid, he can come up with better surprises than that.]

But I'm sure you can change its type after all with disks that adapt it to different abilities. It's something like that if I'm not mistaken.
no subject
[He doesn't mind if it doesn't evolve, though. He's just curious to know what to expect from it.]
no subject
That would probably be for the best.
no subject
[It would be, as Yayoi said, overpowered.]
I'm not sure why you would want to only use one Pokemon, though. Training lots of different ones is quite rewarding.

[Oh look, he's actually got a Type Null standing next to him right now, tongue hanging out the side of its mouth happily - somehow this is happening despite the helmet - as it intently watches a stick Ryner is holding, waiting for him to throw it. But of course there's no reason to start the conversation with that part...]
no subject
[Interesting. He smiles slightly at the Type Null he sees on the screen, though. It reminds him of a dog, with the way its tongue hangs out like that.]
What is yours called?
no subject
[Ryner throws the stick, which the Type Null immediately starts chasing after excitedly. Stick! Stick! Stick!]
As for him, his name is Shira, and he's ground type. Rose is the one who picked, but I'm pretty sure it's because I haven't ended up with any other ground types yet, and after the mess that was Jasmine...
no subject
[Ryner might be thankful for his Ground type one day.]
It seems very friendly. Does it have any unusual quirks? Those were mentioned in the broadcast.
no subject
[also, like, he's got the tongue thing going on, it's not an exaggeration to say it's always flopping out, but]

[If there is a control group. Like some sort of Eevee that gains different types, but without evolving.]
Mine's a bit odd, and it needs near-constant supervision, but it's a decent battler. Took ages before it evolved, but that came with a few nice typed moves and an increased appetite.
no subject
[He's never seen the evolved version, but it's interesting to know that it can, in fact, evolve.]
no subject
[That would be one of the possible quirks, but Ash doesn't sound like he minds.]
no subject
[He smiles slightly at the idea of someone trying to pick up what he's imagining the evolved Type Null to look like.]
It sounds like a handful.
[He says it fondly, though.]

Then again, I'm still not really sure how you get one.

Which is to say, visible in the video not over his shoulder but clipped into it is a big old 'Silphally', sans Helemet and also incredibly still.]
I adopted MIPS over a year ago and I can vouch for it and its kind as fantastic partners. I believe you can still look up the footage of it at the Elite Four with me if you dig a little.
I would caution though that they are a lot of work. It took MIPS a long time to master the intangibility that came with its Ghost typing. It got stuck in a wall once.
[MIPS blinks. Once.]
no subject
Is it... okay?
[Oh, there, it blinked.]
I would be willing to devote as much time to it as needed. I assume that's the evolved version?
