...So. Just looking through things, sounds like we're not the only ones, huh.
[He's in the front hall of his house, and to demonstrate his point, he pushes the camera up to have a good view out the window that looks out in front of the front door, where this woman is patiently standing on the other side.
He then sits back down on a chair he's pulled up in front of the door, because why would he open the door for this woman. It's not like there's a Clefairy at another windowsill giving her a suspicious death glare or anything. His hand goes to his temple, to rub at his eyes a little.]
A few years ago, I dunno if anybody's still around who remembers, but I asked around, what it's like to have a family, 'cause I thought I'd never had one. Heh, wouldn't you know, they were closer than I could've ever imagined my whole life. And I couldn't know.

...How do you deal with that? Suddenly learning that everything you've thought your whole life was a lie, and someone you thought didn't exist was actually always there, just out of sight?

[The convenient thing about having Pokemon around who write: there are pads of paper and pens everywhere. Ryner hardly has to reach to grab some to offer to the ghost.

...How much do you know about their relationship? 'Cause there's a lot I don't know, but what I do know is, I'm really not sure this is the best way for you to do this.

...All right, let me tell you something. Sion's father was the previous king of Roland. I don't know the whole story there, never asked, never thought it was important enough to bother. But I do know that his father abandoned him and his mother. And I know he was a pretty damn crappy king, frankly. Sion's not perfect, and anyone who claims he is is deluded as all hell, but he's thousands of times better than his father ever was.
And I'm not exactly sure how things went down, but I'm pretty sure Sion had to kill his father in order to take the throne.
So I'm kind of just wondering, how exactly is seeing his father's face supposed to help him?

But if Sion doesn't want to see his father's face, there's no way this is gonna do anything good. If he's got unresolved feelings about all that, he's gotta handle them on his own terms. You know?

as it stands it's a bit on the uncanny side of things, not that Ryner ever met the previous king but who'd have thought that guy's expression was capable of sadface

Ahh... If you're that serious about it, I'd suggest asking him about it when you don't look like him, but that's probably difficult, huh... Honestly, though, he'd probably react better if you ask him stuff and let him confront things at his own pace, instead of all at once unexpectedly like this.

I mean. You could always stick around a while. Join up with him. Learn to write - I bet Rose would be excited to teach you.
["Clef!" Rose affirms that she'd be happy to, even as her glare doesn't leave the window, affixed on the ghost outside.]
And then when you figure that out, ask him about it then. It might take a while, but I bet he'd be more open to it if you give it time.
