Hello everyone!

I'm going to be tackling my very first Gym at the end of the week and I was wondering if anyone has tips for the one in Ecruteak?

I've only ever battled trainers I meet in town and on the roads, but it's very important I get the Fog Badge.

[Her whole summer depends on it!]

But my team and I are very excited, and any advice would be very appreciated. Once we get the badge, I'm going on my first human vacation!

very well, thank you! dandy and i trained him up through his last few levels with a very effective power training routine!

No... no, those aren't. How many species are making societies like human beings are on your Earth?

Magikarp are a longterm investment. Similar to some of the pokemon with no efficient fighting moves or counters, like Beldum... anyway, glad you've gotten through all that with yours.

I'm not sure! I only lived with a few different species on Earth. of course each society was very different, but just as fascinating and complicated!

[Rose is a woman who once randomly spent years living with a bunch of lions in the desert, she has a very broad and wide covering concept of what's a 'person' and 'society'.]

Just because they don't have traditionally powerful moves doesn't mean they're any less than any other Pokemon. They're really amazing creatures, when you think about it!

They're all equally unique, no matter how you look at it.

It's really amazing, isn't it? All those different species on Earth, thousands and thousands, and they all live on the same planet and share it but they don't even speak each other's languages...

That might be a generous way of putting it... sharing isn't necessarily something they choose to do. It comes with being on the same giant rock.

no, it doesn't. just because different species evolve on the same planet, it doesn't mean they'll share it.

Many would argue humanity is an example of a species with poor sharing skills.
