21st Zapfish [Video, Violet City]
[Since the Camp Alpha incident, Thida's hung around Violet of her own volition, helping out at the Ruins of Alph at first, and then just sort of settling in the area. She's been lost in thought, you see, and finally she's decided it's about time to ask the network about something that's bothered her for a while.
So, with the calm midday atmosphere of the Pokemon Center in the background, Thida sits cross-legged on one of its couches and holds up two fossils.]
Do these do things?
[It's asked rather bluntly. Yes, Thida knows what a fossil is, in general, but this world has some pretty unique rocks and plants that aren't Pokemon that do really incredible things! Ergo, must ask about fossils.]
This one, [she holds up the Helix Fossil] I got it a couple years ago? Been holdin' onto it. 'N then the letters at th'camp gave me this one, [Helix is lowered, Claw Fossil is held up.] They're nice, but...kinda heavy...if they do a thing, I wanna do the thing. Anybody know?
[Someone tell her where you can revive these bad boys.]

Those are pokemon fossils! Apart from helping us understand more about extinct species of pokemon, some types of fossils can even be resurrected and turned into a living, breathing pokemon.
I don't recognise the first one right off the bat, but that second fossil can be resurrected into an Anorith.

Thida looks at the fossils. Then to Armin on her 'gear. Then back to the fossils. Then back to Armin.]
They can really make 'em alive...?

[Like. Surely there were more than, what, ten extinct pokemon.]
But for some types, they can revive them. Wait, I can show you.
[There is a bit of fumbling as Armin sets down his gear, some indistinct noises in the background as he does... something?? By the time he picks up the gear again, he's moved to the bow of his boat. Armin's gear is no longer focused on his own face, rather, it is focused on a pokemon sitting there. It's an Anorith, blinking cutely up at the camera, its large claws folded together.]
See, this is what that second fossil turns into. I found one like it after Halloween and I was able to resurrect it into Douglas here.
[Hearing his name, Douglas perks up a bit, before waving his claw. Yes, hello. It is him. He is Douglas.]

[And she could have one of him? Her eyes widen and brighten curiously.]
D'you know where I gotta go?
I think it is the pokemon centres, help my brain is farting.
If you take it to any pokemon centre, they'll be able to help you there.
gkbaerkg I searched but couldn't find anything conclusive...lemme check the FAQ
Thida looks to the left, then to the right. Then back at the 'gear. She is just visibly vibrating.]
...I'll ask later.
[She's in one right now but if she starts going nuts over the possibility, then she may get kicked out of the Center, and that would be a bad idea.]
I feel it was probably in the mod post when the fossils were first added but ???? too much info.
[Armin is always down with seeing cute pictures of long-extinct arthropods. But, he is also down to see whatever is in that other fossil. It is a mystery.]
rkrgnskeng I may have to do some hunting tho I did toss up a question on the FAQ

[The tradition of Splatfest, for example, is integral to Inkling culture. How important are vacations to humans?]

Y'can make birds 'n fish 'n whatever y'wanna! Just need directions. Probably can find books that help somewhere here...this place's stuff is similar to Inkling stuff, sometimes.
