Blissey produces eggs. Miltank produces milk. You can get wool from Mareep, honey from Combee, bananas from Tropius. Any Water-type can serve as a source of water as long as you boil it, and any Fire-type can produce the flames for that. And there's all the Pokémon that can help you cut tree, or dig holes in a mountain.

This list is probably missing plenty of options and helpful species still.

So, where are the few but hardcore survivalists who choose to live off the grid? Wouldn't this world be perfect for that kind of personality?

That was another one of the motivators to stick around, to be honest. Seemed really fucking boring.

By all rights, there should theoretically be plenty to do. Maybe that just means our imagination is lacking.
