61st treasure [text]
Blissey produces eggs. Miltank produces milk. You can get wool from Mareep, honey from Combee, bananas from Tropius. Any Water-type can serve as a source of water as long as you boil it, and any Fire-type can produce the flames for that. And there's all the Pokémon that can help you cut tree, or dig holes in a mountain.
This list is probably missing plenty of options and helpful species still.
So, where are the few but hardcore survivalists who choose to live off the grid? Wouldn't this world be perfect for that kind of personality?

But I guess some of the trainers that hang out in caves might actually live there? even if they're too social to be proper hermits.

I guess it's good that no one is in any rush to live off the grid, but damn, that is something to think about.

If someone does decide to live away from society, they'd still be only a Fly away from civilization. That's almost ideal conditions, if someone decides to try it out.

But the rats and flowers are very new.
[He's got a very proud Floette though that he knows can hold her weight in a fight.]
I figure if someone had, we're not gonna hear their thoughts on it for a long time. It'd mean getting of the network.

Maybe they're just really hidden?
Text
I wonder how deep inside forests or caves they'd have to go to truly hide from people. I mean, between all of us we've probably stomped over every inch of Ilex Forest, by now.
Text
They'd have to be really good at hiding.
Text
I'd bet certain Pokémon can help with that a little, depending on where they'd want to hide. That, or they went on a shopping spree for camo print clothing before walking into the woods.

Pokemon wouldn't just help us survive. They'd revolutionize our way of life.

Well... I've got a Blitzle, and she's shown me just how powerful Electric types are. It wouldn't be abuse to have them work a couple of hours a day to power machines, as long as they were treated well. I haven't seen any of the big, powerful Pokemon I've read about yet, but if they really can stomp down mountains and destroy forests like the Dex says they can, that would save a lot of physical labor.

is that what pasteurization is for? i am actually not sure. i've never had to think about that before, really. i just think it would be neat to make something using ingredients from pokemon friends.
are blisseys ok with you taking their egg? it seems like a pretty important thing to them. they have a whole pouch for it and everything.

I don't know if Unoly is a normal representative of her species, but she once threatened to use me as target practice because I said I didn't feel like eating scrambled eggs that morning. I assume this means she's fine with it. I'm sure she'd be more protective of a fertilized egg, of course.

that is really good to know about the milk, though! i don't know how to pasteurize things at all so i would have had to do a whole bunch of research.
no subject
I know it involves heat, but beyond that, beats me. Where I come from, most milk is artificial, unless you're both very rich and living on Earth.
