[The video opens to an excited teenage girl sitting on the ground just outside “Mom”’s house. She’s twirling a blue piece of fabric that was her mask that match her godly pjs in her free hand and a skitty chases after it.]
OMG, isn’t this the most adorable pokémon you have ever fucking seen? Is this the universe we created? Because lbr, this is exactly the type of pokémon I would think up. And I don’t remember it from the original games or show. Is the goal really to become the very best, like no one ever was? [Guess who loved pokémon as a child. Just be happy she isn’t singing.]

[But now on to less exciting questions.]

The mom part was fucking bizarre. She was super nice and packed me a bag and lunch. But then she locked me out of the house.Is that normal maternal behavior? Because I’m pretty sure it isn’t.
[A brief pause and frown. The skitty promptly attacks her fingers and she smiles. She seems to be speaking more to herself or the cat than the pokégear.] I hope my friends answer this quickly. [If they’re even here...but that’s a problem she will deal with when she gets to it.] Or at least someone more helpful than the NPC chilling in this town. Not that they aren’t nice. [But like the chess people who surrounded her growing up, they made her feel lonely.] Gastrell the Munificent and I have poké-adventures we need to get up to. [Really excited with a broad smile aimed at Gastrell the Skitty.] This is so much better than the last video game I entered. [Not that that’s a particularly high standard.]

[It's evident that, upon surfing the network today, a familiar face that she hadn't yet seen in Johto is NOT something Jane expected. The moment she hears Roxy's voice she drops her 'gear, and has to scramble and pick it back up in order to respond.

He goes to say something, a little witty remark, but he momentarily freezes up. Sudden internal dread. Jane was easy. They were never afraid to talk to eachother. But are they okay? When was the last time they talked? There was too much going on. Roxy switched timelines with John, right? Did she talk to the other Dirk at all? Is she caught up? She might be. She's asking if this is what they made.

If this is the universe that seizure frog turned into, it's your fault. I'm severely doubting that any influence from the rest of us would have lead exclusively to a Pokemon game, of all things.

[It's Dirk. Things are weird, but it's Dirk. It doesn't matter if his disappointed in her or she let him down. He's still a constant in her life. Right? Right. But he's also the friend that she hasn't talked to since the whole Trickster clusterfuck.

I take full responsibility for this surprising turn of events. Although, I'm not sure I would have picked Pokémon of all games.

[A small part of her is frustrated that Jane still doesn't trust her, but then she's pretty sure that wasn't what Jane meant. After half a year in the dead-end game she gets it. It felt like it would never end and being told some vague shit about gods coming to save you wasn't all that reassuring.]

I kinda think we broke the rules a bit. Or said fuck them or something, what with smashing three sessions together. But yeah, we get to claim the prize.
