OMG, isn’t this the most adorable pokémon you have ever fucking seen? Is this the universe we created? Because lbr, this is exactly the type of pokémon I would think up. And I don’t remember it from the original games or show. Is the goal really to become the very best, like no one ever was? [Guess who loved pokémon as a child. Just be happy she isn’t singing.]

[But now on to less exciting questions.]

The mom part was fucking bizarre. She was super nice and packed me a bag and lunch. But then she locked me out of the house.Is that normal maternal behavior? Because I’m pretty sure it isn’t.
[A brief pause and frown. The skitty promptly attacks her fingers and she smiles. She seems to be speaking more to herself or the cat than the pokégear.] I hope my friends answer this quickly. [If they’re even here...but that’s a problem she will deal with when she gets to it.] Or at least someone more helpful than the NPC chilling in this town. Not that they aren’t nice. [But like the chess people who surrounded her growing up, they made her feel lonely.] Gastrell the Munificent and I have poké-adventures we need to get up to. [Really excited with a broad smile aimed at Gastrell the Skitty.] This is so much better than the last video game I entered. [Not that that’s a particularly high standard.]

[John sure is glad to see yet another familiar face. The last time John saw her, he was leaving for his apparently game-saving quest from Terezi. He hopes she made it out of that okay.]

It's good to see you again! Do you remember me? Did you get to train with your void-y stuff while I was gone? Or are you some kind of Roxy from the darkest timeline?

[There is a brief moment where John's face falls a little bit, before he realizes that Roxy is just totally joshing him about not remembering him. Aha, good one!]

I hope so too, though I am sure that Dave knows about all other kinds of crappy timelines, being the time player and all. He's here too! So are Jade and Jane and Dirk and Karkat!

Aw man, that's awesome! I can't wait to experience it myself. I only just finished Terezi's bullshit quests from my perspective, so I don't know much about the new timeline.

It's p great. We win, everyone lives. Even Calliope is saved. But IDK, taking a break to play Pokémon seems like a pretty sweet deal too.

Yeah, I don't think there is ever a bad time for a Pokemon adventure. Especially since time doesn't pass while we're here. So it is not like we are even missing anything going on back home.

Though I guess I do miss some of the people from back home... but there's always the hope they'll end up here, too!

True, any time's a good time for Pokémon. I think that's some time manipulation bullshit I can actually get behind.
