[The video opens to an excited teenage girl sitting on the ground just outside “Mom”’s house. She’s twirling a blue piece of fabric that was her mask that match her godly pjs in her free hand and a skitty chases after it.]
OMG, isn’t this the most adorable pokémon you have ever fucking seen? Is this the universe we created? Because lbr, this is exactly the type of pokémon I would think up. And I don’t remember it from the original games or show. Is the goal really to become the very best, like no one ever was? [Guess who loved pokémon as a child. Just be happy she isn’t singing.]

[But now on to less exciting questions.]

The mom part was fucking bizarre. She was super nice and packed me a bag and lunch. But then she locked me out of the house.Is that normal maternal behavior? Because I’m pretty sure it isn’t.
[A brief pause and frown. The skitty promptly attacks her fingers and she smiles. She seems to be speaking more to herself or the cat than the pokégear.] I hope my friends answer this quickly. [If they’re even here...but that’s a problem she will deal with when she gets to it.] Or at least someone more helpful than the NPC chilling in this town. Not that they aren’t nice. [But like the chess people who surrounded her growing up, they made her feel lonely.] Gastrell the Munificent and I have poké-adventures we need to get up to. [Really excited with a broad smile aimed at Gastrell the Skitty.] This is so much better than the last video game I entered. [Not that that’s a particularly high standard.]

If this is the universe that seizure frog turned into, it's your fault. I'm severely doubting that any influence from the rest of us would have lead exclusively to a Pokemon game, of all things.

Dave Strider? He's my...[Son. Is that weird to say? Dave called her Mom, but she isn't even sure if the Dave here knows her.] We're family. I'm Roxy. Rose is my mom...[Which also isn't strictly true, but it what she said her entire life.] and daughter. That prolly makes zero sense. Negative sense even, but so does most my life probably.
